I was just wondering what family moved to be closer to the Duggars. I read about it somewhere and for the life of me I can't remember the name of the family.

 

So why did they really move? is it a rumor they moved to be closer to the Duggars?

In a word, yes. Mrs. Dauer (Cooper Dauer's mother), who is mildly obsessed with the Duggars and is basically an internet leghumper made flesh and blood (and also may be trying to snag either a Duggarette or a Batesette for Cooper), posted about it on her facebook. I forget the entirety of the context, but I believe that Mrs. Duggar (Boob's mom) is allowing them to stay, potentially rent-free, in her home.

Yeah, I think the OP is asking about a young family, I think they have five very young girls. The mom really admired all things Duggar and wanted to live by them. Please dog, don't let them be wacking those babies.

Oh, oh, I know! It's why I joined the board!! I'm going to quote my own post. The are the Schofields and boy do they have a story!

I'll just quote what I put in Jill's wedding thread. Like I said in that post, I can see why the Duggars would take them under their wings. They are a perfect example (to the Duggars) of 1.) What not to do (drugs, even consider abortion as an option, and 2.) Change and repentance. Like SoybeanQueen said, I hope they have a genuine relationship (or fellowship :lol: ) with them and not one of pity or one to indeed make an example of them.

It speaks to the hypocrisy and narcissism of Boob and J'Chelle... If they're doing something normal (like treating people with dignity and respect or even just ignoring the other occupants of a public washroom) it's no fun and they must do the opposite for attention. If they're being adored and adulated for something, more please!

      My sweet pup was diagnosed with a brain tumor in September. She passed away in my arms on Thanksgiving morning. It all happened so fast. She didn't want to eat anything the day before, but prior to that was ok. Knew it was near time and had booked an appointment to take her next week. However, she decided for me. She was only 8 and really was one of the best dogs. She never met a stranger, human or dog. Life isn't the same without her.

      I made my first Granny Square! After nearly 30 years of knitting and crocheting this was a project I never did. Until now! I needed something to do with my rest of very colourful yarn and now I am very happy. I need to try different needles with my yarns but I think I found something nice for the future.
      I needed only 3 different youtube videos until I found a person who explained the concept slowly and repetitive and with words I can understand. I hate when these tutorials make me feel dumb.

      We had to put our 14 year old dachshund, Trinket, down today.  She was fine Thursday, but by mid-morning yesterday, it was apparent that something was really wrong,  She had zero energy, lost her appetite and began walking into corners.  By morning I knew it was time for her to have her final visit to the vet.  She had lost about a pound and a half recently.  RIP, Trinket!
