Duggars in Indiana

First Josh and family (and Jana) were spotted in Indiana at the fair and then some other Duggars were there. Lawson Bates was also there doing a gig. Masiespace was also at the fair that day.

Apparently:

Quote
The entire Duggar family wasn't in Porter County. Rather, the fishing and camping adventure was set up after Josh (eldest of the 19 Duggar children) his wife, Anna Duggar, and their children (Mackynzie, Michael and Marcus Duggar), who live in the Washington, D.C. area, decided to take a road trip to the Chicago area to visit Anna's sister, Priscilla Waller, and her husband, David Waller, and their son, Paul Waller.

Since Josh and Anna Duggar were going to be in the Chicago area, the Indiana Dunes trip was planned. Once the Duggars and Wallers got to Porter County, Josh Duggar and his brother-in-law went on a fishing adventure. Triplecatch Captain Rich Sleziak's boat took the men from Marina Shores in Portage onto Lake Michigan for a friendly fishing competition.

Meanwhile Anna Duggar, her sister and the kids went to Indiana Dunes State Park to set up the campsite and get ready for campsite activities.

The "19 Kids and Counting" episode featuring Porter County is tentatively scheduled to air Nov. 18 on TLC. Area residents and fans of the show will have to tune in to see how the fishing competition and camping adventure went.

And

Earlier in the week, Duggar family members visited and filmed at Fair Oaks Farm in Fair Oaks, IN.

Woohoo Wallers coming up!

Pretty sure the producers read here and elsewhere that David Waller and his wife is a topic of interest.... good way to draw in viewers.

Check out David & Priscilla's blog about their recent family reunion. They mentioned David's brother Derek and John David Duggar: " Derrick and John David Duggar had gone to Alaska to help a family with a move. They took turns driving over 3,000 miles from Alaska to California."

That explains why John David was in Sacramento in July at a homeschooling conference with some Bates & Duggars.

But, WTF? Driving (or flying) from Arkansas to Alaska to help people move? Damn, that is expensive. Wouldn't hiring professional movers be cheaper?? Is there some sort of courtin' going on? Anywho--I guess JD will go to great lengths to get away from the Duggar circus for a while! :?

John David has nothing else to do. Not going to school. Not working for a living. Just playing--as all of the Duggar boys have been taught to do.

Poor Jana.

I disagree. I think John David is a very hard worker. He has a towing company and is a volunteer firefighter. While I don't think he had to work as hard as his sisters growing up he seems to have been working as much as possible with TLC's occasional interruptions since around the time he turned 18. Out of the older kids I think only Josh is the lazy one.

Why would you drive to Alaska? That's absurd

Friends of mine thought it would be "romantic" to drive and camp from Seattle to Juneau and back, for their honeymoon. Except they didn't do basically any research, underestimated the time it would take, and constantly got attacked by mosquitoes. They were miserable.

So many fundies go to the Indiana State fair. Josh and Anna too I guess. Never really ever saw fundies at other fairs, but there were like whole youth groups in long skirts in Indy.

Anna and Pris set up camp while their husbands went fishing. :angry-banghead:

Exactly!!!

A honeymoon is one thing but if the goal is to help people move it seems like more trouble than it's worth

Anna's belly goes up and down more than Katie Holmes' did during her pregnancy. She's standing next to Pris, who we know is pregnant, and doesn't look much smaller than her. I just don't know with her anymore.

I would love a tell all. Someone, somewhere has to write a Tell All. An escape from Quiverfull that names them specifically. I mean they can't all be that happy go lucky all the time. Plus, I am now convinced Josh has been fired. He cannot possibly, even for the show, get that much time off.

Do lot of people think he is fired?

I don't know. I think he's still working for FRC. I think he has stuff about FRC up on his social media pages, still. They seem to still be living in D.C., but apparently moved out of the house they were renting a while back. TLC teased that they were going to make 'changes' but that could mean Anna decides to re-decorate for all we know.

These two wives need to speak up! And who cares to watch Davey and Joshie fish?

Josh is pretty worthless to "work" anywhere. The FRC only uses his name, so I am guessing he is still on the payroll but allowed to roam now.

Josh's job at FRC involves traveling, speaking & getting media attention.

He is a confirmed moderator at a panel at the Value Voters Summit in DC at the end of September: http://www.valuesvotersummit.org/schedule

And mom & dad are speaking along with every other fundy celeb you've ever heard of.

Hey does anyone know if they will be gone by this weekend? DH & I were thinking about doing a trip to the IN dunes for the holiday.

My sweet pup was diagnosed with a brain tumor in September. She passed away in my arms on Thanksgiving morning. It all happened so fast. She didn't want to eat anything the day before, but prior to that was ok. Knew it was near time and had booked an appointment to take her next week. However, she decided for me. She was only 8 and really was one of the best dogs. She never met a stranger, human or dog. Life isn't the same without her.

I made my first Granny Square! After nearly 30 years of knitting and crocheting this was a project I never did. Until now! I needed something to do with my rest of very colourful yarn and now I am very happy. I need to try different needles with my yarns but I think I found something nice for the future.
I needed only 3 different youtube videos until I found a person who explained the concept slowly and repetitive and with words I can understand. I hate when these tutorials make me feel dumb.

Someone please remind me to buy peanut butter. Seriously, I have been meaning to get some for at least three weeks, and everytime I remember, the shops are already closed!

You know what I hate most about subtle racism? The gaslighting. Stop cosplaying as a nice person and say it with your chest.

We had to put our 14 year old dachshund, Trinket, down today.  She was fine Thursday, but by mid-morning yesterday, it was apparent that something was really wrong,  She had zero energy, lost her appetite and began walking into corners.  By morning I knew it was time for her to have her final visit to the vet.  She had lost about a pound and a half recently.  RIP, Trinket!

Horrific! A 6 year old boy was murdered, and mother severly injured, in a hate crime in Chicago. Reports say they are both Palestinian Muslims and were specifically targeted because of that. Thankfully the man who did it is in custody
      This is pure evil
