Duggars, Hobby Lobby, and Bill Gothard

Interesting. I've lost respect for Hobby Lobby if they go on supporting a disgusting man like Bill Gothard!

"Between her second and third month, Michelle miscarried. When the doctor told us the miscarriage probably happened because she had conceived while still on the pill, we were devastated. To us, it meant that something we had chosen to do—use the pill—had caused the end of the pregnancy. As conservative Christians, we believe every life is sacred, even the life of the unborn. Due to our lack of knowledge, we destroyed the precious life of our unborn child.â€

So, was Michelle on BC when she conceived Jubilee? Cause the pill "caused" the end of a pregnancy once, it surely must have been the BC again and not nature or God's will. This family is so hypocritical it isn't funny.

It amazes me how many old conservative Christian men are concerned about women, virginity and birth control. Gothard is far from a health care expert.

The miscarriage in question was the never-named-before-the-Jubilee debacle "Caleb". It was between Josh and the twins. The doctor, Ed Wheat, was full of shit regarding the pill causing J'chelle's miscarriage if indeed she had one.

G-d gave you Caleb back in the form of JD, you were only supposed to have a singleton but G-d saw you were going down the wrong path with this whole quiver whole thing because of Caleb's miscarriage, so he gave you twins so you'd get Caleb back and not have to worry about all of this. There are at least a million ways to interpret G-d and you guys had to go with the Gothard version

And generations of Duggars now have to suffer through their lifestyle because of Michelle's miscarriage decades ago. It drives me bonkers that they lost Jubilee too but she wasn't using birth control. Jubilee was just "The Lord giveth and The Lord taken away."

Science unfortunately had not come far enough to save a fetus Jubilee's gestational age, and I'm genuinely sorry that Jubilee did not make it.

Josie was a bit of a miracle, and a ton of new, lifesaving medical innovation, herself. The Duggars still wouldn't approve of a child wanting to study medicine, even if the reason were so that they could save more preemies like Jubilee.

Do the Duggars really think that it's better that future Jubilees die than one of their children sit next to a kid with green hair in college?

My sweet pup was diagnosed with a brain tumor in September. She passed away in my arms on Thanksgiving morning. It all happened so fast. She didn't want to eat anything the day before, but prior to that was ok. Knew it was near time and had booked an appointment to take her next week. However, she decided for me. She was only 8 and really was one of the best dogs. She never met a stranger, human or dog. Life isn't the same without her.

I made my first Granny Square! After nearly 30 years of knitting and crocheting this was a project I never did. Until now! I needed something to do with my rest of very colourful yarn and now I am very happy. I need to try different needles with my yarns but I think I found something nice for the future.
I needed only 3 different youtube videos until I found a person who explained the concept slowly and repetitive and with words I can understand. I hate when these tutorials make me feel dumb.

Someone please remind me to buy peanut butter. Seriously, I have been meaning to get some for at least three weeks, and everytime I remember, the shops are already closed!

You know what I hate most about subtle racism? The gaslighting. Stop cosplaying as a nice person and say it with your chest.

We had to put our 14 year old dachshund, Trinket, down today.  She was fine Thursday, but by mid-morning yesterday, it was apparent that something was really wrong,  She had zero energy, lost her appetite and began walking into corners.  By morning I knew it was time for her to have her final visit to the vet.  She had lost about a pound and a half recently.  RIP, Trinket!

Horrific! A 6 year old boy was murdered, and mother severly injured, in a hate crime in Chicago. Reports say they are both Palestinian Muslims and were specifically targeted because of that. Thankfully the man who did it is in custody
      This is pure evil
