I searched Wisdom booklets for sale on Ebay for a few years hear and there. I looked today and I couldn't believe how many were being sold. Of course not the whole set together. Must make more money just doing bits and pieces. I am convinced even though people are not saying so it is because of the Gothard scandal.

I've never seen the Wisdom Booklets but those Living Waters $100 tracts are freaking everywhere right now! I just saw a post on Anna's twitter account that her and Jana and Joy were handing them out in DC

I was at a family friendly festival in the Kansas City area about a month ago when a woman with crazy Michelle eyes approached me and my sister-in-law. I kind of quickly mumbled thank you and kept walking but my sister in law stayed and talked to her for a bit. She later told me that the Michelle-ish lady said to her, "Oh, I just KNEW you were a Christian! You know, because you're black?" My sister in law laughed it off but I was creeped out and pissed for hours.

I bet my parents still have some in their house somewhere.. I should try to find them. It would make for a good laugh. Or awkward conversation. :stir-pot:

Wait, so, all black people are Christian? I must've missed this particular stereotype...

Ugh, apparently. I must have really been giving off my atheist-white-vibe that day because crazy fundie lady didn't flinch when I walked away. My sis in law is black, Christian, and loves her some Jesus.
