Can someone please explain lousewife's mentality?

This isn't really a topic post per se, I'm just perplexed (and morbidly fascinated) by her. Sure, she's religious like many of the snarked on here, but she's far more political. She SO extreme in her reactionary ways, yet her writing style is eerily calm and collected in a horror movie kind of way. I know she used to work at a paper, but I'm just wondering why she is so batshit now? If you look at the blog she's not dumb, she writes decently, she's probably somewhat educated at least. She creeps me out because while she spews vile things, she spews them in a really 'refined monotone' type of way, if you know what I mean. It reminds me of the twins in "the shining"

For all the snark on Kidist being insane(and it would not surprise me) I can't but help to find lousewife kind of insane too, in a less obvious way. Kidist acts straight up cray cray, lousewife is like fake-smile, monotone robot insane.

I mean, half the shit she snarks about, she knows nothing about (when she trashes women doctors/lawyers/etc) it's like she dosen't live in reality. Is she using christianity and reactionary ideology as a cloak for personal issues or something?

When the ferry boat crashed in Thailand (? I think--the one with the teens/young adults) she blamed the crash on the fact that it was

a woman ferry pilot. A man pilot wrote in and deconstructed her argument bit by bit and she relented. BUT everything is always the fault of the

woman. When that female grad student was murdered at Yale, and found in the wall, well, that was the woman's fault also.

And her loathing of pizza as some kind of aid to feminists is downright comical.....

I read a few of her blogs and wasn't getting the woman-hating vibe as much as the black-despising thing. What a repellent, racist human being.

Her style isn't like the typical fundie bloggers. Some of them are at least personal and chatty, and seem to be making an effort to live good lives (as they define it). She doesn't write personal stuff. For all of her dismissal of education for women, she seems to consider herself to be some kind of intellectual. She embraces a paleo-conservative view of the world. I was convinced that her blog was actually written by Lawrence Auster until he died and the blog continued.

Kidist is both hateful AND crazy. Those are separate things, although they get mixed up a bit in her world. Lousewife shares the same hateful views as Kidist, but not the same signs of actual mental illness. She doesn't write about her obsessions over the future sex life of the neighbor's toddler, or political conversations with random wait staff, or some of the other stuff that makes us think that Kidist is not just hateful but also truly psychotic.

I have to agree. The lack of compassion and common decency in her older post about a (black) policewoman who was killed by her foster/step son was just abhorrent.

I wouldn't be surprised if this woman had a master's degree in the humanities, though.

It's sad because he's actually Paul auster's cousin, a fairly popular novelist. Yet from his obituary, he died completely alone except for lousewife. No family or anything involved. I find that so SAD. So much for 'traditional values' :p
