First, moron: your portrayal of "lefties" is incorrect. I don't know of any lefties who actually want straight-up for everyone to put all their money together and then have it shared out equally. I don't even know what you'd call that as a political theory. Other than "Conservatives, when they describe liberals." Most "lefties" are still capitalists, at least in the United States. But, sure, assume he means "socialists." Assume he's talking about the very few Americans who actually want socialism as properly defined, where the wealthy are taxed at a higher rate than the poor, and social services are provided to everyone regardless of their income.

As a commie, I'd like to issue a correction to that definition: we seek the destruction of the capitalist system, wherein the working class is exploited both domestically and internationally, and for the means of production to be turned over to the workers. It goes far beyond that, though, and expands into social issues because 'workers' is such a broad term and should encompass women, people of color, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ people. This is not an exhaustive list, either.

It's actually rather insulting to be lumped in with liberal capitalists, because they're still capitalists, whereas I'm definitely not. There are also a good number of us, too. We have several newspapers and magazines, a leftist publishing house, socialist chapters in different cities, and an annual conference.

Bet this gumball hasn't even read any Marx.
