Duggar Fertility Doctor Visit

I don't think her body could carry another child to term, I think that is why Jubilee didn't make it.

I think that "God" is showing her the signs, she just isn't willing to listen. She said that they went of BC and went for as many as god will give them, well she didn't seem to see Josie as a reason to stop, so Jubilee got thrown in, bigger sign? (Here's your sign!, sorry couldn't help it)

If she is actually going for fertility treatments, that level of hypocrisy just makes me what to hit something!! :angry-banghead:

Whatever happened to " As many children as God gives us"? It never was " As many children as assisted reproduction can give us". I don't have any problem with ART, but what can they say to justify the conflicting statements?

She had a uterine prolapse a couple times, and had it repaired in a way she could still have kids. Also a lot of religions think injectable ART and Clomid (which John & Kate used) are okay since conception happens through sex still.

It these people really left it to god, not only would Josie be dead, but Michelle would have died instead of having her first c-section. Clearly god wanted her dead, right? That's Funfie logic though. C-sections and medical stuff is okay if it means more kids, but you credit god, not the medical stuff.

I can't see Michelle ever admitting to using fertility treatments or any sort of help. Her whole I delivered them all myself slogan makes me believe she wants us to think she is a super fertile women that is special and did it all herself.

If she did get any fertility help it would be 100% in private. More private then a courtship.

My guess is she is going for a check up to a reproductive endocrinologist , which might have a secondary label a fertility dr just to get her levels checked. She will discuss her chances of #20 and our final TH will be we are still open to #20 and praying for adoption.

With all these teaser episodes have we ever been truly surprised by the Duggars? Not me.

She did it aaaalllll herself. How limber she was to do those c-sections.

I didn't see the teaser but is it possible that the visit is accompanying one of the soon to be married daughters on a pre-conception checkup?

This would be even more creepy and uncomfortable than Michelle going for fertility advice.

Michelle has had two uterine prolapses? When did they show that?

They haven't, to my knowledge. This is one of those often repeated internet "facts" that gets tossed out about the Duggars along with Josh molesting his sisters. Frankly, there is enough to hate about them based on facts, we don't need to use rumors.

I wish I can like, but my like button is gone. Also menopause usually takes a few years to get through.

My like button is gone too, so you aren't alone.

My like button is gone too :(

And these people are so full of sh*t when it comes to "leaving it to God". There are multiple times she would have died had she just left it to God. Same thing goes for Kelly Bates. It's just like how they pick and choose things out of the Bible they agree with and just glaze over the parts they don't.

I'm not feeling a "fertility doctor" coming into play. I think those blood vials will turn out to be tests for calcium or another vitamin deficiency or like disease.

The Lord Hath Closeth her uterus. Let us all take a moment to stage the scene and cry.

Next season on 19 kids and grandchildren....

The "leaving it to God" vs using medicine isn't from the Bible. It's some made up part of their belief system. I've never seen anything in what I'll call traditional Christianity about eschewing medical treatment.

I'm sure it would be, but I'm also sure that's just another TLC driven wind-up.

Michelle is 48 soon and would almost certainly need donor eggs at this point. With the threat of multiples and the Duggars' refusal to selectively reduce, a cluster fuck could ensue, one that most reputable physicians wouldn't want to touch. She has 19 kids already, why risk her life trying to get to 21 at her age?

My own guess this is a staged event so TLC can now lead them down the path of considering adoption.

Can you say "attempted ratings boost"?

J'Chelle doesn't care for the 19 blessings that she already has. There's no need for more. Enough is enough. I hope the dr laughs at her, and tells her that she's in menopause. No more babies for you!

Why would TLC milk the Mullet's potential pregnancies since there are two weddings coming? Unless it's throwing J'chelle under the bus?

Got to your user control panel and switch to the phBBB Silver template. You'll get your "like" button back. ;)

I can actually see J'chelle going through with an 'embryo adoption.' It would further the Duggars' pro-life agenda, and garner a heck of a lot of media attention. I do hope not, though. And I will be watching on Tuesday, but only to put my mind at ease about her possibly being pregnant.

I seriously wonder what kind doctor would be willing to see her and talk to her....

Any doctor who would consider fertility treatments on a woman who has 19 children needs his medical license revoked. He would rank right up there with Octomom's OB. Besides seeking fertility treatments doesn't jive with leaving family size up to God, now does it?

Greedy cow, isn't 19 kids enough?

I have been a forever lurker but I've loved this board behind the scenes for too long. Looking forward to chatting with all of you. That said - she doesn't have 19 kids. Once she's pregnant or nursing it's all about the youngest - she pawns off the 2nd youngest on their surrogate er I mean buddy.

Nope.

I agree. It doesn't matter how many kids Michelle pops out, they will never be enough for her. That first miscarriage that she suffered left a hole in Michelle's soul and she's been trying to fix it by having as many kids as possible. But nothing external will ever be enough to fill it, she needs to come to terms with that loss and fill the void from within. It's the same as an addict who has a trauma that they're not facing. Rather than dealing with things an addict self-medicates with drugs or alcohol- Michelle self-medicates with pregnancies and babies. The sad day will be when her children realize that they were never enough for their mother.

She doesn't want 20 kids she wants 20 BABIES. he doesn't want more kids, she wants babies. Big difference.

Also, I thought they did say she had the uterine prolapse twice. Is that just a rumor then?

I've never heard that anywhere but this thread, certainly not anything official.

I thought she had a problem with her cervix and had to have intervention to carry to term(I know it was written about with Jordyn who she made it to 36-37 weeks with) not a uterine prolapse.

I don't know if all uterine prolapses are the same but when my uterus prolapsed I was in major pain. It was the weekend and I was trying to finish my thesis and I was crying so loud in pain a bunch of students dragged my to the ER and I had to have it removed. No pain pills even took the edge off the pain. I had had many prior surgeries and an abnormal shaped uterus so I'm not sure if that made it more painful but I can't imagine carrying a child to term in a prolapsed uterus?
