how to make hard candy white?

this is a bit crazy I have to make silicone mold of the nike swoosh. they want to make a swoosh that they will drop and have shatter. so it needs to be white and the two ideas is plaster and a hard candy. I have made candy before so I know how but I need to make the candy white. not sure what would be good to color it. I bought a tube of acrylic paint to mix in but with the heat that maybe a problem.

Can you melt peppermint Lifesavers and pour that in the mold? They are already white, just not sure how well they melt and re-form.

Candy turns white because air is added when you pull candy it adds air. Once you melt it it is back to clear Now they want black so I think sugar is out.
