Reminds me of Rugrats. Tommy's younger brother was Dylan "Dil" Pickles.

I'm not sure how they could be responsible pet owners and do missionary work. I get very frustrated by people who adopt animals knowing that their jobs could/will take them overseas without forming a contingency plan. A dog or cat is a 10-15 year commitment, not 1-2. If you only have 1-2 years, get something that doesn't live as long...like a senior animal or a rodent!

Sorry, I live near a naval base and our shelters get FLOODED with good animals right when there is a deployment. I know there are people who do it right and arrange for their animals to go live with family while they are unable to care for them, but there are many, many that adopt puppies/kittens when they get into base and surrender the adult animals when they leave. Puppies/Kittens are easily adoptable and don't usually have issues finding good homes. Adult animals do. So if you take away that puppy or kitty's ability to have a stable home, you better be sure you can commit to caring for it for its entire life. If you only have 1-2 years where you can promise that, a puppy or kitty is not for you.

Ok so who gets to part 4 first? Jessa or Jill?

Probably Jill. Jessa's seems to have quieted for a bit. Unless they announce her engagement soon, I imagine that forum won't pick up too much.

Honestly, I see the two of them doing work overseas, but I don't think they will live overseas for very long.

And maybe the pet is actually one he already has. I imagine his mom and step father would have (and will in the future) taken care of a pet to allow him to work overseas. I highly doubt his parents are as irresponsible as the Duggars when it comes to pets.

I don't know whether it's been posted before, but Jill has updated her part of "their story" on their the knot page. They actually have met before, although she claims neither of them can remember the other one. sounds very rom-com-y

"Neither can remember the other"? So how do they know they met before?

Seems that my speculation was true: the original story was altered to seem more "godly." I wonder if it might have been like Zach and Whitney.

This I can see happening. I was mortified when I came home all excited about my first boyfriend in HS and my mom started laughing because we had carpooled to Religion class together when I was very young - like kindergarten age.

I knew it! I tried to tell you all that Derick has been after Jill for a LONG time. So they decide to sing at this famous, Christian family home. Hey I sure would LOVE to be friends with them! Might even get to marry a Duggar girl if I pray & kiss their dad's butt for a while. Looks like his plan worked!! Whose the next one with a trick like this? Not saying he's a bad dude...just a smart one

She claims that his church stopped at their house (Christmas 2011) to sing carols but neither really remembers it. First, why would you go caroling where the Duggars live without having some other "fellowshipping", which I feel would be more memorable than they are claiming. Second, he lives 45 minutes away from them. Why would HIS church be going caroling there?

I dunno this story seems even fishier than the first one.

"But not long after" the caroling, Derick contacted JB to ask to be prayer partners. Which makes me wonder if they had some kind of fellowship thing or whatever and JB didn't remember him so Derick just went along like they were strangers. But that Jill and Derick got to talking while he was there and she told him the hoops he would have to jump through for her.

Oh good grief she's trying to mimic her parents' "grand" "love" story now? Twit.

Jill Googled Derick to learn more about him. Shame on Jill. Using Google to stalk her man.

At least she didn't use Google Intimidation Tactics (tm Ken Alexander 2014) to get him to propose!

Just looked at the Walmart registry. They registered for DUCT TAPE?

Hey now, that stuff can be very useful.

OTOH um couldn't they just buy it on their own? Why does it have to be on the wedding registry?

OT, but we just bought macaroni and cheese and gummy bear duct tape.

My sweet pup was diagnosed with a brain tumor in September. She passed away in my arms on Thanksgiving morning. It all happened so fast. She didn't want to eat anything the day before, but prior to that was ok. Knew it was near time and had booked an appointment to take her next week. However, she decided for me. She was only 8 and really was one of the best dogs. She never met a stranger, human or dog. Life isn't the same without her.

I made my first Granny Square! After nearly 30 years of knitting and crocheting this was a project I never did. Until now! I needed something to do with my rest of very colourful yarn and now I am very happy. I need to try different needles with my yarns but I think I found something nice for the future.
I needed only 3 different youtube videos until I found a person who explained the concept slowly and repetitive and with words I can understand. I hate when these tutorials make me feel dumb.

Someone please remind me to buy peanut butter. Seriously, I have been meaning to get some for at least three weeks, and everytime I remember, the shops are already closed!

You know what I hate most about subtle racism? The gaslighting. Stop cosplaying as a nice person and say it with your chest.

We had to put our 14 year old dachshund, Trinket, down today.  She was fine Thursday, but by mid-morning yesterday, it was apparent that something was really wrong,  She had zero energy, lost her appetite and began walking into corners.  By morning I knew it was time for her to have her final visit to the vet.  She had lost about a pound and a half recently.  RIP, Trinket!

Horrific! A 6 year old boy was murdered, and mother severly injured, in a hate crime in Chicago. Reports say they are both Palestinian Muslims and were specifically targeted because of that. Thankfully the man who did it is in custody
      This is pure evil
