Women First-For A Bullet

When evil Muslims do it, human shields are a bad thing. When ranchers who don't want to pay grazing fees do it, it is a good thing

But some allies of rancher Cliven Bundy were prepared to make as much of a media spectacle as possible if violence were to erupt, saying they would put women on the front lines in the event federal officials turned to deadly force. Former Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack told Fox News Monday, as reported by the Blaze:

We were actually strategizing to put all the women up at the front. If they are going to start shooting, it’s going to be women that are going to be televised all across the world getting shot by these rogue federal officers.

These people are terrorists and should be treated as such. Sadly, I think that a lot of people will die if the government goes after them. The Bundies and their supporters seem crazy

More information for people who aren't certain who this rancher is. I think that we have mentioned him before but I don't remember him having his own thread. Does anyone know what religion, if any, he is?

Apparently, Bundy's son also kicked a police dog and got tasered for it.

This is Richard Mack's website. He is the guy that wanted to use human shields

Wow. I wonder what the fundies I've seen supporting them will make of this. They'll probably just give it all a big thumbs up. Women and children FIRST, and if they get killed, it's the government's fault.

The Christian far right are interesting because they seem to follow none of their founder's actual statements. Paul said Christians should obey the laws and authorities. Jesus told his followers to pay their taxes. Both men would be ostracized as communist hippies by the modern American, right wing, Christian.

The rancher, Cliven Bundy does have the right to peacefully protest. That isn't what he is doing and he certainly isn't following any rules that are in the bible.

I have wondered why the far right has become so enamored with anarchy lately and discovered an interesting article in Salon about the case. Cliven Bundy doesn't even use religion as justification for his stance. He doesn't believe the US government exists.

This is the logical extension of a push that’s grown in recent years from conservatives to argue that they, and only they, have special rights to simply disregard any law they don’t want to follow. And unfortunately that’s an argument that may be making headway this year in the Supreme Court.

this whole thing is a big lie anyway so this whole stand your ground thing is based on a lie and of course put the woman out there that will make bigger news stories.

http://www.8newsnow.com/story/253021...family-history

LAS VEGAS -- It has been widely reported that Cliven Bundy’s family claims to have ranched in the Bunkerville area since the 1870s even though a federal judge held a different view of Bundy’s history.

Bundy repeated a similar claim Thursday when he told TheBlaze website: “My family has preemptive, adjudicated livestock water rights filed with the state of Nevada. They were established in 1877 when the first pioneers entered the valley. Among those first pioneers were my grandparents from my mother’s side. My father either bought or inherited his Nevada state livestock water rights and I, in turn, have done the same.â€

Contrast that with the 1998 opinion from U.S. District Judge Johnnie Rawlinson in a case where it was determined Bundy wouldn’t be allowed to use federal land for his cattle because of failure to pay grazing fees to the Bureau of Land Management. Rawlinson wrote that it wasn’t until roughly 1954 that “Bundy or his father or both have grazed livestock on public lands owned by the United States and administered by the BLM.â€

Clark County Recorder documents show the 160-acre Bunkerville ranch Bundy calls home was purchased by his parents, David and Bodel Bundy, from Raoul and Ruth Leavitt on Jan. 5, 1948. The purchase included the transfer to the Bundys of certain water rights, including water from the nearby Virgin River. Cliven Bundy was born in 1946.

"they never learned to pick cotton" Wow what a douche, not only is he a lair that lies, he doesn't believe in the government when it comes to policing him but wants it to cover his ass with water /land rights when it soots him. BTW I hope they tasered his son again, kicking a police dog, indeed.

These people are the lowest of the low, IMO. They just can't get any lower.

And yet, they do. They always manage to sink even lower.
