I hope the bodybuilding was worth it. Wow. I'll never understand how someone can so coldly plot the murder of someone they have children with. My step father's friend was a local attorney who was well liked and respected. Imagine the shock we all had watching the news one evening and the headline was that he'd been arrested for trying to pay someone to murder his wife of over 20 years :shock: It was one of the few times I saw my step father get truly emotional.....I'm just not sure which upset him more: the fact that X could try to kill Y or the fact that his BF was a reptilian bastard.

I don't listen to a lot of Christian music but As I Lay Dying is a group whose music I am pretty certain that I have heard.

You'd be surprised. There are bands like The Showdown who are really good metal bands, Christian or no. There aren't a ton, but there are some. There are also a handful of prog bands, too.

Anybody here remember the Christian metal band "Stryper" from the 80's ? They were trying to be hair metal band. They wore these yellow and black striped skin-tight outfits that resembled a bumble bee. Supposedly the source of their outfits came from scripture. They were ghastly.

My daughter listens to contemporary Christian music, and some of it is quite decent. It has certainly improved since the 80s.
