Dad probably dismissed the value of the daughters... the were going to be ruled over by others. But the boys were likely aimed at different areas to take dominion over... the 7 speheres or whatever.

I really don't think Howard Phillips was a dominionist and a super fundie in the same way as Dougie and his ilk. He was around Rushloony early on in the movement and was at heart a worldly political type.
