Persevero! News!

There is so much craziness on this site, I thought that we should start a thread on it alone.

.perseveronews.com/

I can't find any evidence that we discussed this site in depth.

The author has some rather dramatic views about government taxation

Through the dual mechanisms of regulation and taxation, they have claimed control over all of creation. There seems to be nothing they won’t tax, and nothing they won’t regulate. And each instance of taxation or regulation takes power and freedom from the jurisdiction of the family, and gives it to the state.

perseveronews.com/the-second-mayflower-the-good/

He also isn't a fan of science

Even in today’s age of blasphemous and adulterous science, the overwhelming majority of children are still produced by the sexual act between a man and a woman, sometimes even a married couple. An attack, then, on the family is an attack on the wellspring of life.

.perseveronews.com/black-mob-violence-the-reality-of-the-plight-of-the-black-family/

The writer states that black mob violence is on the rise and provides not one iota of proof for that assertion. We can add racist to the writer's personality traits.

Obamacare is, of course, bad.

This is what happens when we bow before the idols of this world. They only lead to despotism. Obamacare and liberalism in America is simply the result of a society that has abandoned the Lord.

Trying to make certain that the poor can be medically treated is evil.

The entire site is crazy and very snark worthy.

I'm glad to see you back debrand. I have been missing your posts.

Taxing and regulating stuff is controlling creation? I thought God did that? Much like a birth control pill, taxes and safety regulations are kryptonite to God.

Jesus' statement to give to Cesear what is Ceaser's must have had some meaning that only the people from Persevero understand because it sounds to me as if Jesus wanted his followers to pay their own taxes.

Thanks for welcoming me back. I can only take so much of fundie craziness though. LOL

Proud member of the blasphemous and adulterous science establishment here. How come when fundies list all the evil liberal innovations that dishonor god, they describe a world in which most of us would really like to live???

He's just throwing big words in front of science to make it sound scary. How the fuck can science be "adulterous"!?

Also a member of the adulterous science establishment! Can I have some adulterous science? Sex researchers really have all the fun.

This site is owned by Nathaniel Darnell, who was in Vision Forum's "First Brigade" of interns with BRADRICK! He's still not married, apparently. Not that there's anything wrong with that! (Unless you're a Dominionist trying to raise up godly seed so that you can overthrow the government)

Nathaniel is another one who makes you think, "What does this guy do, exactly? How the hell does he support himself?"

Science is adulterous for screwing with evolution when it should be monogamously wedded to creation.

What science doesn't know is that creation's been in bed with evolution for a rather long time.

Poor old incel religion is just playing third wheel here :( and doesn't get a look in anywhere. That's why it's taken up with the patriarchy and MRAs in the hope of a relationship . . .

I think in that context he means using sperm or egg donations, so one partner's genetic material is being mixed with an outsider's.

Welcome back, debrand, and thanks for the link to that very...unusual website. It reminded me of the folks who kept turning up in alt.usenet.kooks back in the Usenet days!

Nathaniel is a "lawyer". Take that for what it is worth. He used to only post but now he has guest writers. Most of what has been quoted is from Jeremy Anderson. If you look at his education background I believe he went to the Air Force Academy so he is very bright. I know we have talked about the infiltration of fundies in the military before. I don't think he is active duty now but he had some charming quotes about the typhoon, 4 kids in five years. homeschooling, etc and so forth.

There are some very intelligent people with whom I strongly disagree. The Botkin sisters seem intelligent to me Jeremy just doesn't sound very bright. Maybe he is a crappy writer but in his racist article about black mobs, he didn't offer any proof for the insane views that African Americans are on some type of crazed vendetta against the world. Wouldn't a smart person at least give some sort of reasonable evidence for their views? Could he just be crazy? Maybe he is just really, really racist. Or maybe you can be smart enough to get through the Air Force Academy without having any critical thinking skills? I honestly don't know.

I read some of the articles written by Darnell as opposed to Anderson. Darnell-even though I strongly disagree with him-is a better writer and a bit more logical in how he presents his thoughts.

Here are Anderson's thoughts about kids waiting in the ran for the school bus. The man has to be crazy.

perseveronews.com/trained-to-stand-in-the-rain-government-school-bus-stops/

Jeremy is ranting about kids waiting in the rain for the school bus

Only those who are fully indoctrinated into secular humanism as played out in the government schools will do something like this. What’s worse is that this is considered a great ‘sacrifice’, much like how a Christian would go out in the rain to help a traveler caught in a storm. The difference is that the former is meaningless absurdity and merely shows just how committed someone is to giving themselves to an ideology that sees them as nothing but evolved slime and ultimately treats them like a cog in a machine that can be expended without a second thought for the ‘collective good’.

In another article, he writes that his wife's ancestors came to the United States as slaves so is he in an interracial marriage? If so, why the crazy article about black mobs?

Nathaniel Darnell "graduated" from Oak Brook School of Law (http://www.obcl.edu/) some years ago. IIRC, he took the California State Bar Exam at least twice but failed it both times.

He flew Dougie's coop perhaps 3-4 years ago after producing and/or doing a lot of work on many of the videos, website launches (e.g., Blue Behemoth), and other media VF produced. He also did a lot of work for the SACIFF over the years.

As someone mentioned, he was one of the First Brigade of interns: perseveronews.com/the-2008-first-brigade-reunion/

ETA: Struck some internet gold!

Looks like Nathaniel's current website has the content to his old blog. Some low high lights:

The Bradrick wedding posts: perseveronews.com/2006/08/

Enterpreneurial Bootcamp 2008, which included James Leininger as one of the featured speakers: perseveronews.com/eb-a-photo-summary/

"Peter's wedding was a victory for the First Brigade. One of us has reached normativity…"

perseveronews.com/afterglow-2/

And one of us hasn't. And stop calling it "normativity," Nathaniel. You are not abnormal, just brainwashed and trapped and probably very lonely. Be a "real man" and set yourself free.

“I want a big one!†says I (on right) . “Darnell, that’s too big,†Caleb replies (on left).

:D :D :D

So what the hell actually is the First Brigade? Some kind of virgin club celebrating that one of them has finally proven that they can attract a woman? Or are they celebrating that he has successfully married a woman and that makes him "normal" and definitely not gay?

I am deeply amused by the fact that Darnell proudly states that he has a "juris doctris" in law. IOW, he's got a law degree. Puffed-up pride and vanity becomes sheer silliness, shades of Doug W. Phillips, Esq.!

After a couple classes of wine the childish side of me snorted loudly. Persevero literally means ass tax in my language. Though I live in a socialistcommunistmarxistfascistfeministheathen country, my government doesn't tax that so not (yet) "control over all of creation".

And each instance of taxation or regulation takes power and freedom from the jurisdiction of the family, and gives it to the state. As the fences and chains get tighter and heavier the ability of a family to exist and operate becomes smaller and smaller.

What absolute ahistorical shite.

It is not possible to simultaneously have a capitalist system (even where mitigated by taxes) and a system where the family is primary, unless we're going to come over all Godfather. If we aren't, we have to accept that advanced capitalism and family loyalty don't work together for 99.9% of the population.

If there should be no taxes, that means there would be no maintained roads, no police, no clean water, no community facilities, no regulation of food, nothing to stop anyone more powerful than you killing you and taking your stuff....let's see how long the "family" survives then.

My college did not even offer a science course in adultery.

Oh, I thought it was more of an art than a science.....
