10 reasons why MEN shouldn’t be ordained

A friend posted this on their Facebook page this morning, and I thought FreeJinger would appreciate the way the author took all those reasons women are told that they can't become ordained minsters/priests/what-have-you and turns it around on the men. Some are hilarious, and some made me go, "Ooof!" because they really are mirrors of the excuses used against women. I'm sure, however, too many people who come across this list will laugh it off as a joke and not see that it really is serious satire making a real statement.

Love it. My favourite is the one about it being a nurturing role and that this is a female trait, not male.

This reminds me of the Sliders episode "The Weaker Sex," where they go to a world where women are socially and culturally dominant over men. A man they meet talks about why men shouldn't fly planes. "Women only cycle once a month, while men cycle every 20 minutes. With all those mood swings, I'm not fit to fly a plane!"
