I'm just impressed that they're actually hiking in proper shoes and not flip-flops like the Duggars. What do they have against appropriate footwear, anyway? I've never figured that one out.

That's interesting. As of at least 4 years ago, the whole ALERT organisation was strictly Gothard and for manly men only. Supposedly it's owned by another entity now? Except that the entire staff seems to've been there since 1994? Way to distance yourselves from the names you don't want to name, guys.

I wondered if it wasn't simply that it was all girls all the time, so there were no men to be defrauded, but the pictures seem to suggest otherwise.
