Internet Assassins - Doug Phillips

Don your ninja masks, everyone!

I ran across this quote from none other than Doug Phillips is a tool:

"We will lose this movement and this work of God, men, if we do not govern our households. And that means lovingly shepherding our wives. The less you love your wife and the less you shepherd your wife, the more you create an open door for the female sin of the internet. The male sin of the internet is pornography. The female sin of the internet is gossip-mongering…Dear friends, we don’t live in the type of communities where our wives tend to go from house to house gossiping. They tend to go from blog to blog gossiping. And they spend their day going from blog to blog gossiping. And some of you are letting them. Some of you are encouraging them. And guess who they’re gossiping about? It’s not the world. It’s Pastor Joe. It’s homeschool state leader Sally. It’s Charlie. It’s my friend John.

Guess who’s watching? The world is watching. When the lesbian, feminist, transgender publishing house Beacon Press decided to release their exposé this month on families that believe in large households, they knew exactly who to go for. Go to the internet assassins. Go to the blogosphere gossips and get the information to denounce and divide the homeschool movement directly from the wives who live on the internet, gossiping 24/7. It’s a bigger problem than you realize, men. And it is causing heartache. It is creating problems."

Fuck him sideways. Beacon Press is the publishing arm of my church, the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations. What's the matter, Doug Phillips is a Tool? Too wussy to admit it's a church you're pissing on?

There is a groundswell at the moment in public criticism of the HSLDA. There are a group of homeschool graduates who have found the contents of a 2009 conference that was attended by all of the usual supects, including Doug Phillips is a tool. They have a website, called Homeschoolers anonymous. They are not against homeschooling per se. They are however, publishing about the fact that the Christian Patriarchy/quiverfull/religious right movment has coopted the agenda. They are publising the fact that this family model combined with the omeschool movment provides a fiertile breeding ground for abusers and controllers.

Doug Phillips is a tool seems to be blaming women for allowing the truth to come out. Given the unchecked power that the men in these families are supposed to have, I think he is endangering their wives and their children by inciting these men to command further control of the doings inside thier home.

We need to help homeschoolers anonymous. The person who runs the website has been trying to get some traction on Reddit and other online communities to raise consciousness about this. Let's give him some Reddit love. Look for "homeskewl" on Reddit. This is the opportunity to make the danger of the far right open to the public. Doug Phillips is a tool is concerned about it. GOOD. Let's mobilize and make it real.

Would he recommend that men stop going on his adventures so they can spend more time at home lovingly shepherding their wives?

When I read the subject line I thought this was one of Doug's more believable hazardous journeys. I imagined him & the interns in skintight ninja outfits fearlessly tapping away at their dangerous keyboards. Be still my heart -- or, rather, my stomach.

Oooh, so when I was gossiping on fstdt the other day and I accidently let it slip that dougie (is a tool) is going on a bear hunt (and he's not scared!), I should have been in the kitchen making my shepherd a sammich instead?

My bad. I'll try and remember in future. Loose lips sink ships and all that.

I read that as fapping away at their keyboards...

Yeah, exciting to think that this second generation can challenge all this.

By the way, someone has a petition going if anyone wants to sign: www.change.org/petitions/hslda-address- ... es-2#share

If I was married to any of these wankers, including Dougie (THE TOOL) or his henchman Sippy Cup, I'd be delighted to have him out from underfoot on a hazardous journey.

But Doug, all those gossiping bloggers have links to Vision Forum in their sidebars.

This. I'd do everything I could to encourage as many hazardous journeys as possible.

And of course...Doug Phillips is a tool. :music-tool:

Poor Doug (is a tool); scared the womenfolk will let slip that he and his cronies are not only operating a money-driven cult, but are likely just a few steps shy of advocating or participating in domestic terrorism. They're no better than the fanatic Muslims they decry - and worse, perhaps, because they're such whiny hypocrite who blame women for telling the exact truth about the Dominionists’ perverted agenda.

And once again, they accuse other people of certain crimes - in this case, assassination - that they would love to carry out for themselves.

What book? Suddenly I want a copy.

They're probably talking about this book, Child Catchers, which reveals their human trafficking scams for the gross human rights violations that they are.

Nancy Campbell and her ever-changing number of children? Trading kids like baseball cards, and killing those who fail to comply – why, those are the Christian things to do!

In short, Doug Phillips is not merely a tool but a willing enabler of gross criminal behavior. It's no wonder he wants his zombies to shut down those who speak up.

Doug, you tool --

People expressing their opinions online are not being assassins. You don't seem to know what that word means, so let me help:

And now, a musical interlude -- actors portraying assassins:

Scary stuff. Hide, isolate, don't let anyone know, don't let anyone see, speak to nobody....the perfect environment to abuse someone.

Or let the women work outside the home? If the wives are gossiping 24/7, they obviously have too much time on their hands.

I have been following the Homeschoolers Anonymous blog since it started. I think they do a good job of documenting the stories of former homeschoolers. I hope it will eventually go viral.

I just went through and up voted all the HA threads. I hope it helps!
