Michelle Duggar on Taking a Break

Her whole life is a break. She's handed all of her kids onto their buddies.

This. I guess she's speaking for her employes .... j'slaves.

I call b.s. on the part about the day getting cooler in late afternoon. Maybe it's different in NW Arkansas, but where I am (not that awfully far away), the heat builds up and peaks around 5 pm. In last year's severe heat wave, it was often still in the high 80s as dark fell.

No big thing, but another example of Michelle's writer having no idea of what really goes on. She's probably upstairs with her feet in a cool tub of water, fanning herself and watching TV with the bedroom door closed by 5 pm on a sweltering summer day.

I'd love to see J'Chelle take care of the kids without the older girls, or any other outside help. That's never happened. That shows how dependant she is on others. It's sad. She can't even care for seven kids by herself. People do it everyday. With no help.

Michelle's real breaktime is every day. I was expecting this to be about having as many kids as possible, and them waiting til theyre old enough to raise eachother and do all of the housework.

On Saturday, Michelle does not do any jurisdictions. Who do people think she is, one of her slaves? Of course not. The jurisdictions dont have to be done, so the boys can run wild and tear up the house, but the Jslaves still have to look after their children buddies, and cook for the family. Unless she just lets the kids scavenge for food from the fridge and cupboards and eat nothing but pickles, bread, and empty ice cream cones. But of course, the kids will still have to cook for Michelle and Jimbob

"Hmmmmmmm for that Tater Tot Casserole, I will give you a 10..........hour long punishment in the prayer closet, its burned. Shouldnt have looked so hopeful at that, random J-girl, thats a sin, I know the hyper little J-boy set the kitchen on fire today, but you still should have saved the food before you took Josie out of the way."

On Sunday, the family is late for church because they didnt get up early enough. The Jslaves had to work hard to get the kids breakfast and wearing shoes and coats ready to go, with no help from Michelle and Jimbob as they were too busy trying for #20. They had to go back home halfway because they did a head count and realised they forgot Jordyn. At church, the kids were horribly behaved, getting stared at from all the other parents of blanket trained little robots, and Michelle ignored them eating with their hands and faces at the fellowship dinner with the church people, giving Jana dirty looks for not keeping the children in line.

In the summer, Michelle sneaks out to where nobody will find her, and secretly puts a bikini on. She sits out in the sun, sunbathing for a few hours, making Joy serve her drinks every few hours, taking it back if it isnt cold enough. She makes Jill stand near her with a giant fan, to cool her off. Then she hides upstairs for hours in a cool bath, while the children raise eachother.

I remember several message boards ripped Michelle apart a couple of years back when she had Grandma, Priscilla, and Amy help her out with the 7 youngest ones while Boob and the older kids were away. I can't stand it when the leghumpers blab on and on about how Michelle is a great mom. She isn't. The leghumpers fail to acknowledge that the buddy system used by the Duggars is extreme and that Michelle has a lot of outside help that other moms of large families don't have.

More on a Duggar day, by Michelle... if I was a JSlave I would LOVE Saturdays too, however Michelle says on Sunday that they pick up Saturday night. So in other words... they still have jurisdictions? :?

So, the jslaves have to work on the Sabbath? I thought that was a time for prayer and family.

I'm cringing here...do I see violins set on that (initially) beautiful grand piano? Talk about a lack of respect for a gift they were given!

Who's kidding whom here? Her entire EXISTENCE is a break.

QFT!!!!

Michelle has been on an extended break for well over a decade now. You can't say that about most people whether they have kids or not.

Its shit comments like this that ruin my snark. Where does it say they work on sabbath?? May be my reading is shit, or may be you pick on them for the sake of picking WITH NO SUBSTANCE.

Sunday seems to be a busier day. It’s the day we go to church so we’re up early getting everybody ready for church. Before we go to bed on Saturday, it’s time to pick up the toys, straighten the house, and get the clothes picked out for church the next day. We start our Sunday morning by heading off to church and then we have dinner with our church fellowship, which is always great. Then we enjoy a quiet Sunday evening. Monday morning will be here before we know it and the school week will start all over again.

I was reading this article and I felt my chest get tight, like I know if I was a member of that family I would scream and have panic attacks, like claustrophobia, soldiers, schedules marching! I hate that prison schedule!

But then I read what you wrote and I thinking Oh no, not again with the lame snark. Theres enough to real snark on people instead of being stupid and say I thought they have to rest on the sabbath. Duh they do!

Just like "the christians claiming persecution" threads. I cant stand those christians, but why youre making up shit on them? No one can show me ONE evidence of where they said that.

Petty snarking going on, nothing juicy.

I'm in Central Arkansas, and the weather may be different up there but here its been cold. There was snow in one part of the state a few days ago. We get a couple of nice days, then the rain rolls in and we have two weeks of jacket wearing weather. I don't think it got above seventy five today... and thats been the highest we have had in the past few days. My gas bill is pretty outrageous for May. This is if Michelle (or her ghost writer) has been talking about recent weather.

I think the point was that the oldest Duggar girls are still working on Sunday getting everything ready for everyone and that Michelle and the Howlers are the ones who rest. I could be wrong.

Thats what I was saying. The girls do all the work all week. They dont get a rest even on Sundays. They may have more to do on Sundays because of the family church.

Well what kind of people do you need here?

As for the snark, theres lots of good snark here, just not yours. Maybe you like liars to be here and agree with every thing you say? Sorry I am not a liar. Im a girl who says it straight out.

I am not a lier, I call it like I see it. The girls do all of the work in the house. The howerls dont do much and the older boys are out working. They are now grooming Hannie to take on the role of a jslave. They have taken away her tonto stuff and now she plays with dolls. You might learn more about this if you actually took time to read the forum and watch the videos without rose colored glasses on.

Ok my mistake. I didnt undestand that getting showered, dressed and cook breakfast was anti-sabbath. Even if michelle dressed all the kids by herself and cooked all the breakfast meal by herself, than by your logic she is "working" on the sabbath. These things have to be done.

I thought you were criticizing working on the sabbath because its a holy day. So you were meant to mean the girls should not do their routines because they dont even have one day off? They should be helping especially on sabbath to get it to run smoothly to get to church. I dont think they like to live in chaos house, do you?

I didnt call you a liar. But I think you want ME to be a liar and agree with every thing you say.

I dont have rose color glasses when I read them. I cant stand them. But you tell me to leave when I criticize your snark. Why?

That is not what I am saying at all. The girls routine no matter what day it is ridiculous because they are the ones stuck parenting the other children. They dont get a break. They are the ones who are always take care of the younger children. They have been doing that job since they were young. Its not fair for them to work while their mom gets a "break" while they work. From the early episodes, we got a glimpse of the girls even taking care of their siblings education. In one episode, Jana talks about how great the computers are because she dose not have to spend so much time grading. Jana had not gotten her GED yet she was responsible for grading her siblings school work. Jana and the other girls are not allowed to be children. They are raised to be mini moms to all of the other children. Its not just sundays that bother me. Its every day that the girls have to do all the work because their parents choose to have that many children.

I am not going to rant any more I just have one closing thing to say, children should not be responsible for parenting other children period. Parents should be responsible for their children even on Sunday. I am done arguing with someone who continues to twist my words. I suggest you spend more time reading the forum and less time trying to pick fights with members. Have a nice day. :music-tool:

Yes, we're both in the twisted words club. I dont want to fight with members. I learned here that if some one disagree, they get shit on and told to leave. Oh well. I will try to be more like the mold of FJers.
