I remember this man being discussed in the vegan forums. Sam was contributing money to animal rights causes as fast as he could till he died, and I believe most if not all his estate will go towards those types of charities. I am so saddened to hear of Sam's passing, and even though he had announced his health sometime ago, somehow it still comes as a sad shock.

So apparently, Harry Shearer has been fired/left. I really don't see how they can go on without him. Can you imagine the Simpsons with no (or a significantly altered) Flanders, Skinner, Lovejoy, Lenny, Dr. Hibbert, Otto, Kent Brockman, Burns, Smithers, ...
