It occurred to me last night that I would have hated Isis the Scientist even before I became a misogynist. I always hated women like her.

It’s hard to believe now, but I used to consider myself a feminist. It wasn’t that I hadn’t noticed that women were mostly inferior to men, it was just that back then, I thought it wasn’t biologically based. I believed that feminism was about encouraging women to achieve, not about forcing men to pretend that we were equal when we weren’t.

I remember how furious I was when I was around 20 and read about a fire department which was forced by feminist litigation to lower its physical standards so that more women could reach them. The way I figured it, feminism should be about getting women to hit the gym until they could reach the original standards. (I knew that men had an advantage when it came to physical strength, but back then, I thought the advantage was smaller than it is and that women were far more capable of reaching those standards than we are.)

Isis admits that the scientific data shows that men are smarter and more rational than women, but she’s furious at the people who gather this data because they are too “fuckwitted†to take it on faith that if girls were raised the same as boys, they would be just as smart and logical as men. (Isis herself is not guilty of this other bit of censorship advocacy, but other contributors to that site have declared that no one should gather any scientific data about physical differences between the races, because they might not like the results. Who are the real racists here? They’re sure that if they gather actual data about race, they’ll find out that some are inferior to others! I, on the other hand, say they should go ahead and look into it, because I seriously doubt the differences will be all that major. Ann Coulter was right: when liberals encounter science, they become faint and nauseated and have to flee from the room.)

Women like Isis are not doing women in science, or women in the workplace, any favors. She behaves like an airheaded hysteric, leading men to conclude that just because a woman has (through the ever-present threat of litigation) managed to get degrees and land a job in science doesn’t mean that she’s capable of logic. She refuses to accept that being allowed to sue over such frivolity means that incapable women such as herself will get jobs they can’t do, depriving white men who could actually do them of a paycheck. (Of course, she can’t admit this, or she would have to admit that without the privilege of suing people who don’t indulge her fantasies of equality, she herself would never have been given her bachelor’s degree, let alone allowed to play at doing a job in science.)

If feminists really believed that women were as capable as men, they would denounce women like Isis soundly.

So she's a clearly a white woman who believes her race is superior. Not only sexist, but racist too. She's not worth my time, but she proves below that she is definitely racist.

Funny I always hated women who automatically looked down on someone else just because of their gender even before I knew what a feminist was.

Inferior how? In strength, smarts, earning power, what? True the average woman probably won't be as strong as the average man simply because of the way the muscles in the body are arranged. Intelligence? I've seen some brilliant men and women and I've seen some that I wonder how they remember to breath everyday. There is no clear cut line on intelligence since it can depend on where you grew up, what kind of schooling you had, how your brain organizes information. My father has a brilliant mind and worked as an engineer until he retired. If you give him a science problem he can do pages of equations to work it out. However he doesn't remember to eat unless someone tells him to. His mind works differently than most people's but that doesn't make him smarter or stupider than anyone else.

Where was this and can you cite a source? I've heard these horror stories about the evil feminists making the standards lower so they qualify but I haven't seen an actual situation. In my area the firefighters have to pass rigorous physical exam before they can work. Most women can't pass the requirements. However, most men can't pass the requirements either. I believe in everyone having an equal chance at getting the job. As long as you can haul me out of a burning building should I pass out I don't care what sex you are, what race you are or what age you are.

Source or it didn't happen. How do you quantify intelligence or rational thinking by the way? See above, how smart you are depends more on how you were raised than whether you are male or female. Oh & this liberal loves science! Prove to me that your point stands up to scientific method or STFU.

She herself uses "logic." (granted, her premises are flawed beyond reason, so the conclusion is not sound.)

This is the #1 most commonly used religious/right wing tactic, and it really shows how truly dim-witted they are. They take whatever criticism is levelled at them and shoot it right back at whoever they're arguing against. You couldn't really blame someone for not seeing their own faults, but it shows how they just don't connect words with meaning when they mindlessly shoot off crazy criticisms like this.

It must be her feminine lack of logic that leaves her unable to understand the premise behind affirmative action: it's not that women inherently require special treatment to achieve the same things as men, it's that society functions in such a way that without making a conscious effort to change things women will be disadvantaged through long-held prejudices.
