I've seen that photo many times but never really looked at it carefully. You're right, they don't look at all happy to be around each other.

Do wonder what the state of the in-law relationship is now given they have shared grandchildren. Suspect the Mahers see Nathan, Mel and family but they probably don't stop at the Maxwell compound to say "hi".

I think that if Steve saw ANY of his grandchildren doing anything that a "normal" child would do a vain would pop in his head or he would have a heart attack!!

Are there any examples of "headship" passing from father to son? I know that some of us that is the case with Grandma Duggar, though I think she's more financialy independent that we realize.
