The Duggars do burgers

Always good to see TMZ picking up a story about them (I hope they stay on their radar) but if Boob wasn't on an expense account from TLC for promoting the show, the kids would have had to make do with generic, nearly-off-code granola bars and juice boxes.

I think it's interesting that they went to a BAR &Grill.....isn't that against some rules? I.e., "I will set no wicked thing before mine eye"?

You just reminded me to put some booze in the fridge before this night's episode. I'm going to need it.

And wasn't there some thing about Michelle protesting selling alcohol where kids could see it...? Oh yeah, while her premature baby girl was in the hospital!

If, according to TMZ, 23 Duggars went out for (not expensive by midtown Manhattan standards) burgers, including Josh, Anna, and their 2 kids--who was missing from the lineup?

I think Joseph is at ALERT academy? So that's one down.

I'm going to guess Josie ate off someone else's plate and Michael and Mack might have shared a kids meal. They're not very big and probably couldn't eat an entire meal by themselves. Just idle speculation.

"Extra" covered the burger bill as well. They show them getting off of a chartered van and then Michelle rattled off their names. The kids again said that their favorite food is rice and Boob explains that a 7 pound baby is easier to deliver than a 10 pound baby.

Brilliant...

According to TMZ the Duggar clan of 23 bill came to 614.00 which if my math is right comes to 30.70 per person. I think they must have ate well. The question is did the leave a tip. But I think considering the party size, the tip was added to the bill.

Considering the number of media appearances they've made in the past 24 hours I'm quite sure TLC put that one right on the card. I actually expect that a "handler" was there to sign it.

Is it me, or is there a whiff of desperation coming from the general direction of all of these whirlwind appearances?

I didn't check your math, but I did look up the full menu with prices. 1 drink ($2) + 1 entree + 1 side + dessert = $22 - $27. Maybe if everyone of them ordered a shake as well as a bottle of water, plus some appetizers?

Although, if they ordered everyone a bottle of water instead of a soda, that doubles the amount spent on beverages. However, most people split deserts and sides of fries/onion rings/nachos, not to save money, but because even obese Americans can't eat that much food in one sitting.

Oh my god. I'm pregnant and all this post has done is make me want a fancy $25 burger meal and a milkshake. Thanks, Duggars.

The stank is stronger than a pubescent boy who got into the axe body spray before a first date.

This is clearly a jab at Anna. Michelle had giant sumo 10 pounders because she ate too many Reese's cups, so she really had to squeeze them out, unlike lazy Anna who just casually shat out her 7 pounders. God hates a coward, Anna!

And leg humpers will think Jim Bob saved money and paid for the meal himself. If I remmebr correctly didn't he pretend to whip out the debit card and pay when he took the Bateses out to eat? I think they do have debit cards but w eknow where the money comes from. Can you imagine the cholesterol in that $614 meal?
