"Don't strangle my rights with your gay marriage"- that doesn't even make sense. How does anyone's marriage infringe on another's rights? :|

I found a link to the facebook page on an atheist page. Because Free Jinger sometimes snarks on fundie blogs, I thought that such an off the wall facebook page would be appropriate. The page that this photo came from is over the top.

SamuraiSarah, I think that they are afraid that they won't be allowed to repress other people.

The ultimate act of hatred against someone with homosexual, transgender etc... is acceptance and tolerance. The ultimate act of love is to call them to repentance of their sins against God because the end of all who do not repent is eternal torment in unquenchable fire. Today there are many who will call good evil and evil good but do not loose heart no matter who they rage and rail, no matter how cruel or perverse their responses are. Remember Jesus said that they will speak out of the abundance of their hearts and their unconverted hearts are vile and perverse. Our greatest weapon is prayer, prayer and proclaiming the word that homosexual, transgender etc behavior is sin and God rejects it but if you turn and repent of it God will heal you, save you from His wrath and give you a new life, a clean heart and pure desires. You can be whole!

Kween N I don't try talking to homosexual people anymore. The moment you start telling them about God, it means that you're coming with 'hate speech.' I let my wall do the talking. If they don't want to hear it, then go to hell.

Kween N I was watching one on TV the other night giving some marvellously garbled reasons as to why prayer should be banned in schools. The legions of demons that live in them simply will not have the thought of the Presence of The Lord being invited anywhere.

Trolls are a kind of demon by the way, so your name for them is more than fitting.

Brent H And if there is no god or heaven or hell? What then? Well, then you're just being a hateful person.

Wow. They are not playing with a full deck. *except Brent H*

As we said before, There is no debate about what marriage is. It is one man and one woman. This page is not to get dragged into the same tireless arguments. This page is to rally concerned citizens into actions.

1,000,000 Supporting Traditional Marriage Thank you, Ladies.

Wilmington Religion Politics Examiner Totally agree. Shameful that the topic of defining marriage is even an issue. What it amounts to is those who would redefine marriage pushing their agenda upon others. The irony is that that's what they accuse us of...

I' d like to know how anyone is pushing their agenda on the last poster. These people are only angry that they can't discriminate against another groups. The last commentor won't be forced to marry someone of their own gender. Same sex marriage won't do anything for or against him at all

I refuse to teach my children that Marriage is anything different then a sacred bond between one man and one woman.

She doesn't have to teach her kids anything about marriage. When same sex marriage becomes legal(and I do believe the Supreme Court will eventually allow same sex marriage), she will have to accept that two men and two women can marry. No one says that she has to like it, but she can't discriminate. Her problem is that she wants to say hateful things and not be called on those hateful things.

She also has a bizarre caption on one photos that says "Don't hate. Put your rainbow panties back on and stop running around naked."

9 Justices shouldn't be determining for the whole Nation what they believe Marriage is. We the People should get to vote on it. The LGBT knows that If the People of the whole Nation voted on Marriage's definition it would be between one man and one woman by a landslide.

If it wasn't for Loving versus Virginia, the south could still discriminate against interracial marriage

There's nothing normal about being with someone of the same sex and asking to be recognized as a couple by allowing you to Marry isn't about equal rights. It's asking for a special right to have your moral wrong recognized as being right with Marriage.

Last time I checked, you still have a right to be an asshat, marriage equality or no. Of course, I have an equal right to make fun of your asshatedness, but marriage equality didn't give me that right.

I hate it when my heart gets loose. Seems like their's got loose a while ago. The rest of the sentence doesn't make any sense at all so I won't even try.

I think it would make sense as "no matter how they rage and rail"

I can assure these fuckheads that I know and understand the Bible perfectly well. Why can you not disagree with them without being "ignorant" of their scriptures? It has been abundantly demonstrated that atheists know the Bible better than most Christians.

I want to be induced to a gay relationship. Especially if it involves a cute girl administering anesthesia.

Trolls=people with opinions=demons. Well, now that you've really established an open non-judgmental place for conversation on the matter...

I really like when someone feels strongly about something, so they capitalize that word, ie: I like Gay People. I am for Marriage For Anyone Interested. I want to Induce Gay Relationships. Sociology 101: Families Come in All Forms. If I capitalize it, people must agree with me.

ITA. And I've been "waiting" for about a decade for the Netherlands to implode, thanks to legalised gay marriage. I have a distinct feeling that it's not going to happen. And it was never going to happen! :)

I think that picture is inside the NY state capitol building! Probably in the senate chamber.

Which means these idiots are showing a picture from a state that legalized gay marriage almost two years ago.

I seriously doubt that. They are too busy disproving it or twisting it to make themselves feel valid.

I have no need to twist Scripture or even work very hard to disprove it. All you have to do is read the Synoptic Gospels and compare (just for starters).

I will post links to back up what I said about atheists knowing the Bible better. I am on a smartphone right now. But a simple Google search will d o it too.

Many right wing Christians don't read their bible or if they do, they whiz through it and never really absorb what it says. Yes, most atheists know the bible better than their Christian counterparts. Older atheists often did not want to loose faith and delved into the book with a great deal of hope that it would save their faith.

As an atheist myself, I like the bible as a work of literature. It has wonderfully dark stories about flawed but interesting people. There is a Shakespearean quality to many of the stories.

Just curious, have you read your own holy text from beginning to end, sunshine? What did you think about Judges 19-21?

No, homosexuality has not always been seen as bad. The Romans, for example, didn't really have a concept of straight or gay like we do. Their sexuality was based on male hierarchy. A higher class male could have sex with whoever was lower than him as long as he didn't go to excess and he was the person who did the penetration. The centurion that asked Jesus to heal his servant was probably the lover of that servant. Jesus would have been familiar with the Roman view on sexual relationships.

Celtic warriors were known for taking their male counterparts as lovers.

Some cultures embrace a third sex. India has the Hijra, for example. Our culture shapes how we view gender.
