Well, he also posted a pic of some snow-covered cars at the car lot. And I would hope he's learned enough not to post his customers' identifying information on the internet.

Yeah, if Josh doesn't know that posting anything else would be illegal, then RD does. But can you imagine, you're buying a car and the salesperson takes a break partway through the paperwork to snap a picture of it?

So how did this go down? Boob finagles the position but cant be bothered to show up for the swearing in? I cant believe that JD would have the clout to get himself appointed on his own... This whole thing is just strange. Also, I'm really glad he got dressed up for the occassion...

He didnt even fill out the part about the car that was being sold. It really is just a blank piece of paper with the date on it. My guess is that smuggums made a NY resolution to make #healthychoices and #work=cars so he had to show up. RD made the sale while smuggles was nice and warm inside playing with a remote controlled helicopter. When the sale was imminent he said he'd fill out the paperwork so he could post it to instagram... and FB... and probably texted it to Anna...

I always assumed that was Jonathan Hari's role. I'm guessing they arent smart enough to use "duggar towing" as the actual repo agent (even though they may lift the car). I'm thinking theres another shell company out there somewhere that does the dirty work without sullying the squeaky clean duggar name.

So, basically John David is a grown man with adult responsibilities and an elected official, but still has to answer to Mommy Mullet and Daddy Dumb-Boob and sleep in a bedroom with 8 other brothers, the youngest being 8 years old, never held hands or kissed another woman and can't date. Yes, that makes "perfect" sense to me and just shows me how Mommy Mullet and Daddy Dumb-Boob really do let their J'adult kids venture out and interact with the rest of the world (aka heathens/wolves/sinners).

Having grown up in a southern state, I can attest that even a dusting of snow is a major event. However, what he's not posting is pix of his kidlets playing in the white stuff.

JB & M have this idea that kids grow up, get married then become adults. Josh grew up, they organised him a house and a business, he found a girl, got married. Yay, he is an adult. The formula works.

John David has grown up. His parents have organised him a business, which he actually seems to be running successfully by himself rather than via an employee. He has organised his own house. Big problem now - he hasn't found himself a wife so JBoob & M don't quite know whether he is a child or an adult. JBoob made a few comments last season to John about getting married. That seemed really strange to me. I understand encouraging a son with a girlfriend to get married but not pushing a 22 year old son to go out and find a wife.

I think Boob & M feel they followed all Gothards rules and were absolutely wonderful parents and therefore, John should fit into the mould. The idea that he might be shy and/or not ready to find a wife is something neither of them can understand. (IIRC one of the girls commented at Josh's wedding that John would not get married young because he was quiet & shy. I think they know him better than his parents.) If I am generous, getting John a position as constable could be JBoob just wanting to give his son the best. ("Sorry you didn't get elected as Alderman but Daddy can make it all better".) Being my normal snarky self, it feels more like JB trying to find a way to make John fit the Gothard formula.

John-David is totally one upping Josh.

I just hope JB&M don't decide to take a page out of the Wallers' book. I've never gotten the same vibe from JD that I do from David, but he still shouldn't be forced to go pick out a doormat wife because his parents think he needs one.

So constable is really like collegemiuns for cops, right? CopMinus? What a poseur. He'd never make it into a real police academy, let alone thought the psychological screenings required of cops (which try to filter out authoritarianism, sociopathy, etc). Do we really need a cop that's never, EVER slept away from home? Ben alone with ANY woman? Never made ANY life decisions of consequence? Has NO real education? God help the first woman/transexaul/exmilitary/gay/sane person he pulls this shit on. I'm comforted that his job will now entail hearing nothing but profanity from the people he 'ministers' to by taking their stuff away.

How on earth can one learn real criminal justice through a correspondence course? Blows my mind.
