Hilarious Robo-Call

Just got a robo-call from the Romney campaign. It featured two women, former cabinet members, talking about how relatable Romney is and how his policies were good for women. My favorite part was when one of them (nameless) said that Romney was "always looking out for people who needed extra help, people who couldn't make it on their own, like single mothers". The other one then talked about how being a working mom necessitated having a flexible schedule.

Anyone else had any cringe-inducing robo-calls? I'm getting sick of them.

We have a female running for senator in our state. She's genuinely nice and super smart. I've been getting tons of robo calls against her and lots of push polls that twist her positions beyond recognizable. Her campaign is totally different than her opponents. Lots of door to door, personal appearances, etc.

Haven't been getting that many robo calls for this part of the election but had tons of them leading up to the primary elections earlier this year.

There was a GOP candidate running for a local office, who was making the rounds and leaving notes at doors that he was there. Too darn bad, as if I was home I would have really let him have it over their party recent comments on rape and abortion.

I got a "poll" that was clearly from a Romney org. They asked me things like "If you were told that Obama signed off on a bill that cost Americans 20,000 jobs, would that make you more or less likely to vote for him?" As a librarian, my immediate thought was "Citation, please." So I decided to screw with the poll and said it would make me more likely to vote for Obama.
