The NRB network, which airs our FamTeam and Safe at Home shows, has added a few more affiliates to its list. Apparently, it will broadcast in Uganda!

It's an actual tv show? I thought they were just making vids and charging access to them. Like porn, but not as satisfying.

Ugh. Let us all pray for Uganda.

I was scanning the channels on direct tv and low and behold there is one showing an episode of their show. They are going to the zoo. I have been tuned in for two minutes and am already bored. I can't understand most of what they say on camera and they only live a few hours from me so it's not a local accent thing. So weird.

And I'm kind of reminded of the character with voice immodulation syndrome from saturday night live

Ok, this has been bugging me for a while: how do you pronounce Arndt and what nationality is it? The name, I mean, not the people. (ie my name is Ukranian but I'm American.)

Granted, it's a two year old thread that got bumped, but I just discovered this forum, so...

I live here in happy Arndt-land, where Cathy has jokingly been called "the resident fertility goddess"...That said, I came to realize reading Paul's book on the origins of the Arndt Dynasty that I went to high school with Cathy and her sister. This was back in the days of dress codes, so I missed the sight of Cathy in the tighty whities that Paul apparently loves. At least in high school, she was quite pretty. (Her sister...let's just use the KJV euphemism "weak eyes"...) :geek:

I'm surprised their show is carried on real TV stations. Here in their hometown, it's cable access only, and good luck finding out when it's on.

It's pronounced "arnt" and like everything else around their neck of the woods, it's German in origin.
