Halloween the Pedophile??

This woman has the craziest view against Halloween I've seen yet.

Like most forms of abuse it takes a person removing herself, or being removed from it, to actually see what was going on.

The pedophile doesn’t begin abusing the child until they have “groomed†the victim by instilling a sense of trust. A trust that will insure compliance on the part of the victim while the most vile violation of that trust takes place.

Halloween is a lot like that. Halloween doesn’t start out with most children as being a violent, pornographic, Satanic horror-fest. But if you stick with it long enough it will bring you there.

When was it deemed “fun†to experiment with the occult including ouiji boards and seances? Halloween. When do we consider it “fun†to scare ourselves and others with masks, movies and entertainment involving mutilations, torture, grotesque violence and pornography? Halloween.

This is simply the natural progression of Halloween The Pedophile.

Halloween is not fun. It is Satanic, anti-Christ, pornographic, and evil.

Halloween is the gateway drug to child molesting? I feel that way about voting Repulican -- it's the gateway drug to becoming a fundie crazypants.

I think this woman saying that Halloween is pedophile is a bit wack a doo. The reality is that Halloween has different meanings to different groups of children and different groups of adults. I have friends who celebrate Halloween as more of day to watch horror films and play pranks, while some of my other friends treat it as a day to dress up as celebs and have fun on lighter less horror scale. Not all adult woman are going to dress up in skimpy angel costumes and not all guys are going to dress up as a horror movie villains. Some kids stop dressing up for Halloween once they hit middle school or high school.

I've "stuck with" Halloween for more than 30 years now, and it hasn't turned into a pornographic Satan party for me yet. I'm so disappointed. How much longer must I wait?

How exactly does one celebrate the Reformation? Should one print up her anti- Halloween flyers and nail them to the neighbors doors? I love the fundies that say Halloween is evil yet they replace it with another celebration. When I went to Christian school they had us dress up as Biblical characters and carve happy pumpkins.

I guess we should ban all pretend games where children use their imagination too. Also school plays, because they ~groom children to act out in ways they never would have, thus allowing them to project their TRUE DESIRES!

Seriously reaching, lady.

Stop! You're bringing reason, logic and shades of gray into a situation! :naughty:

I guess I didn't stick with Halloween long enough, since I'm not violent, a pornographer, or a Satanist.

Oh please lady, people have been doing that since the beginning of time.

I dressed up for Hallowe'en as a kid. The only rules were no undead and no demons/devils. Other than that it was free range for me.

I grew up just fine.

Oh crap, the Satanic, pornographic Halloween monster skipped my house again this year! Dammit! I even left out all the trappings to invite it into my home, all the decorations and pumpkins and such. I'll have to try harder next year.

I'm just happy to see this woman has the word crazy in her blog name. Admitting you have a problem is the first step, right?

I was born and got married on Halloween. My grandson was also born on Halloween. I LOVE HALLOWEEN. But thus far, no evil, Satanic Halloween monster has shown up on my doorstep and asked me to join in his/her pornographic life. I'm a little depressed. :(

you noticed that you may dress your little angel like this

darlingangelcostume1-

Only to have her led to think this is more appropriate when she grows up?

Even without Halloween, there are women who will dress in sexy clothing because they want to do so. She can refuse to let her daughter wear innocent children's costumes but it doesn't mean the little girl won't grow up to wear low cut tops and short skirts.

Part 1 is called Escaping Halloween. My goodness, is it that hard to just not celebrate one holiday? The title makes it sound as if Halloween is stalking her family.

Here is part 2. http://happycrazylife.com/2012/10/12/re ... y-do-this/ Why does she need 4 parts to write that she doesn't celebrate Halloween?

This year we discussed it over family dinner and then let it go. In the past I’ve held up pictures of family, Christ, and peaceful scenes and ask how they feel when they see those images. I then hold up some select images of typical (and quite tame) Halloween decorations and ask how they feel. No honest child will say they feel joy, peace, safe or love from evil images.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

I have yet to have someone disagree with me that Halloween is an increasingly gross, evil, hyper-sexual holiday.

I love Halloween. However, I grew up in a church that would have a "harvest party" to offer an alternative to ebil trick or treating. Workers were dressed as bible characters and certain costumes weren't allowed. We went one year and then thankfully back to normal trick or treating. Last year I had two different costumes, one work appropriate and one party appropriate. I dress conservatively 95% of the time (mainly for work) regardless of a slutty red riding hood costume at Halloween. I have yet to find Satan at my door dressed in a Hugh Hefner style smoking jacket surrounded by playboy bunnies.

Yeah, this will be my 35th time enjoying Halloween, and I have yet to see any evil. I was born just before Halloween, so I've always loved it, and had lots of Halloween theme birthday parties. My dad even carried me to the door each time trick or treaters rang the bell when I was about a week old. I think I would have noticed by now if it was an evil day.

I agree with you. It's not evil. Some folks just have to be against SOMETHING. KWIM? LOL

That would be the Victorians. And the ouija board was actually a boardgame from Hasbro (invented ca. 1890). I think you were supposed to get in touch with you subconcious self. It wasn't used for communicating with spirits until WW1.
