Has anyone viewed this series yet? It's from the UK and is going into it's third season documenting the lives of the Jewish community in Manchester, England. It follows a survivor who lost his faith in the camps, a modern Orthodox woman (what a yenta) and a cultural Jew. The first two seasons are on YouTube. It is above and beyond TLC reality by !!!eleventy!!!.

I watched few episodes of something like this earlier this year on catch up tv, there was a lovely old guy who had survived the concentration camps and finally found enough peace within himself to have his bar-mitvah in his eighties ( it was incredibly moving).......and there was an over the top middle age woman who would I think make an incredibly fun friend, she might have been called Bernette :doh:

If that's the series I definitely want to try and watch it, I really enjoyed it.
