I've been keeping track (as much as one can) of the Voyagers for a few years now. The Heavens Above link is really terrific. There's something so awe-inspiring about the whole thing. That's a little piece of us that's going to leave the relative comfort of ol' Sol's gravity.

Every now and then I will check on the positions of the Voyager spacecraft. I wonder how much longer they will be able to communicate with the it?

On another note it is only 1083 1/2 more days till New Horizons gets to Pluto!!

This is really exciting! I wanted to be an astronomer when I was young. Turns out it's not a field with a lot of employment opportunities, but it's still my hobby.

I too wish I were better at physics-I took astronomy as a senior in high school and found the concepts to be fascinating but struggled with the math involved.
