Does anyone know what happened to the Serven boy who was supposed to get married this year? They removed the engagement announcement from their blog and I've been curious about what happened.

I'm not familiar with them so I thought I would start a new topic and ask for info. Not much turns up searching and I can't search at yuku. Would anyone be willing to give a summary, and tell me some of their unsavoury beliefs?

Well, there's nothing about their beliefs that's unsavory in a way that sets them apart from other fundies. They basically just support the whole Vision Forum/patriarchy thing, unfortunately.

They haven't posted anything new on their blog since May. I think they're on to us.

Dad (Pastor Marcus) is all into the "transfer of authority" thing when he deigns to allow his daughters to marry. The sons seem to have a lot more free reign; at least two of the older ones are living elsewhere (i.e. not under the parental roof and rule). In that respect, at least, they're a bit less oppressive than the Maxwells.
