I love Ian, especially as Gandalf. On the DVD extended edition of LOTR, there are all the commentaries, and in one he's interviewed sitting in his caravan. He's wearing a bright pink shirt and a cute necklace; he's really relaxed and un-actor-being-interviewed-ish and I love, love, love how out there, rainbow-bright and proud of it he is.

Wow. Just... wow. It's weird, because I've never considered Ian particularly hot, I suppose because I've always known him as a very out gay man and, y'know, a bit beyond my age range of choice. I love him, though, for his outspokenness and intelligence and, obviously, his fantastic acting skills. But he is smoking in that picture. Phew.
