  1. The Quiverful of Duggars sub-forum has their own rundown of Duggar wedding dresses, so now with Tori Bates getting married, we obviously need a thread dedicated to dresses. Post your rankings! Here's mine, from best to least: 1. Tori (Bates) Smith Without question, the most sophisticated dress and despite some iffy modifications, overall beautiful. Extra points for the long train, classy updo, nice shoes, being adventurous enough to choose a champagne underlay, a fitted lace bodice with some sparkle, and even going for a bit of a sexier look. Could be perfect if fitted better on the
  2. Welcome! It's your resident FJ Wedding Dress Enthusiast; Jinder. I fucking love wedding dresses and so will be ranking/reviewing all of the Duggar wedding gowns so far. This is intended to be light-hearted and in no way BEC....that's why I'm not reviewing any Bates' dresses (yikes). Feel free to share your favourite Duggar dresses so far! Let's get started. In order of most favourite to least favourite: 1. Jinger's Dress: The Showstopper. Jinger wowed all of us with her double-layered 13 ft. train. The traditional white lace ballgown featured pearl buttons and de
  3. Last thread found here: Sierra is a alleged wedding planner, turned caterer, turned wedding coordinator, and who knows what she'll invent herself as next. Title is from one of her newest instagram posts, where she said that she said she wants the love in her marriage to be so strong that nobody can deny God's existence...in the middle of an argument with said husband. Let's see how this unfolds!
  4. In the spirit of fundie oversharing about deeply personal matters, I just want to announce that I can now righteously fulfill my desires. That means I can bone my husband.
  5. Okay, so by some bizarre cosmic coincidence one of my very best friends (who happens to also be my only friend that still lives in my home town) is also getting married. She is also marrying a guy from overseas. Her fiance is also moving here. She also met her fiance online. She is also getting married rather quickly. Her fiance is also tall and skinny. They are also having a very low key registry wedding. They are also getting married very soon. They too are inviting only a handful of very close guests. It's pretty fucking weird how similar our circumstances are. However they have diverged wi

    Urk.

I thought it might be a good idea to have a place to write about what's going on in my life, since big things are rapidly happening. First thing is that I'm getting married April 2016. Possibly even March. It's happened pretty fast but there's really no reason to wait since we don't want a party or a big wedding, and the sooner we're married the sooner my fiance can apply for a spouse visa and live here full time. I'm so happy and excited to marry him, I wish we could do it even sooner. I really couldn't hope to find a better partner than him <3 Second thing is that I'm disabled and l
  7. Previous thread here: Jinger and Jeremy are married and off to have fundie adventures Down Under. We saw the dress, we saw a picture of Josh, and Lawson pouting with Spurgeon. Carry on folks!
  8. Continued from: It seems to me that since we named the forum after her, we should get her a present from all of us. The present should be something she needs but she might not think of listing on her (probably huge) gift list. For example, A cookbook of authentic Italian recipes A year's supply of birth control A playlist of secular songs that every 20-something should know Other ideas?
  9. https://www.yahoo.com/beauty/dad-marries-terminally-ill-daughter-143702269.html This article caught my eye and turned my stomach. Can't do much background footwork at the moment... but it felt very FJ discussable... 16 months old!!! If she were 6 and wedding obsessed as some little ones are, I'd feel better about this. But this feels so.... fundieicky
  10. Emily Long got married on March 12th. The Longs posted a bunch of wedding related stuff this week, including video of Emily and Wesley's vows and first kiss. http://www.thelongwaytogo.com/
  11. cmellestudios.com/blog/meet-the-alexanders/ A few thoughts: 1. 12 attendants EACH?!?! Holy crap. 2. In a couple of the brides photos there is far more cleavage than I would think lori would approve of. 3. Seriously homoerotic groomsmen pictures. Hilarious, but again, not Lorken approved. 4. Almost zero pictures of lori (she appears in the background at the church and then dancing with steven). Curious.

    Duggar Weddings & Receptions

I had a nightmare about this wedding the other night and All I can picture in my mind is that Jill wears Michelles wedding gown from a couple of years ago. Attendents gowns were the ones worn at Josh and Anna's wedding and Jill borrows Anna's bouquet like Michelle did when her and boob got remarried. Jimboob doesn't even have to buy used because wedding attire is just hanging around the house. Reception foods: bottles of pickles with a ribbon tied around the top of the jar created a down home centerpiece for the Bridal Table. All guest eat holding their party plates on their laps ate the

    Jill's Wedding Part 2

    Part 1: viewtopic.php?f=87&t=22287
  14. Did anyone notice J'chelle wore the EXACT SAME DRESS as Kelly wore to Alyssa's wedding?
  15. I noticed Jill & Derick posted pics from their honeymoon (http://starcasm.net/archives/277545) which appears to be on a beach somewhere. Anyone know where they went? And more importantly, did Jill wear a bathing suit from this century?--
  16. When is it exactly (date and time), and what will you be doing to celebrate?
  17. I think we can all say that Jill's wedding was very well received by the media. It DEFINITELY topped Smuggar and Anna's wedding. I bet smuggar was very jealous about it. With over 1,000+ guests, her wedding was the IT spot to be for fundies, like a fundie convention. Jill will definitely be the fundie IT girl for awhile now... Do you think that Jessa's wedding will be as popular with the fundies and media? For some reason, I have been wondering about it and I don't think it will be as big as a turn out... It could be just the way their relationship is right now and how cold they interact with
  18. I hope you both have a wonderful day with your significant others and that your weddings go smoothly and are exactly what you want.
  19. The 19K&C Facebook has a guest post by His Majesty Randy Fenoli of Say Yes to the Dress, picturing Jill's wedding dress. He writes: {L_OFFTOPIC} : "I feel this wedding gown by Edargo Bonilla would be absolutely perfect for Jill! It has a full ball gown skirt of tulle and lace, and has a high neck and 3/4 length sleeves. This will give her the coverage she needs, yet is light, airy, and will make her feel like a true princess on her wedding day. The mixture of laces makes it fresh, whimsical, and romantic." I don't think she or other fundies would go

    Why Jill First?

Forgive me if this answer is buried in one of the courting threads. The way TLC has shown it, Jessa and Ben started courting first, but Jill who started after them is already engaged. It just seems off to me given how much they emphasize courting, and taking time. That Jill would get married first when she started courting second.
  22. So, we've seen a wide range of honeymoons from Josh's SC honeymoon to the Bates kids Ireland and Hawaii trips, and I seem to remember a new couple doing a cruise. The question is Will the Bates continue with the "flashy" trips for Michael and Alyssa after their big day? Will the Duggars step it up for Jessa and Jill? (Assuming that all four couples get married of course)

    Fake Jew Wedding Video

This is a video about the marriage of Naomi from Everyday Set-Apart. She and her husband have been legally married since May (the betrothal ceremony), but they didn't have the religious ceremony until September, and she lived with her family during that entire time. PuNyn9_983c Some observations: -Jewish weddings used to have separate betrothal and marriage ceremonies that were months apart, but the custom became to have them on the same day, what with the all the uncertainty of not knowing when you could get expelled or massacred by your neighbors. -The lighting and tintin
