    Hollywood's Next Creep

It's not just Weinstein now, many other Hollywood figures are being exposed as sexual abusers. Today it's Louis CK, who has long been a liberal darling despite years of rumors of this kind of behavior, but who has finally been exposed in a thorough piece from the New York Times. Tomorrow, who knows? I'm sure this is far from over. It's sad that Hollywood is so full of abusers, but I couldn't be happier that finally people are paying attention and doing something about it.
  2. Last week, the CEO of the Alaska Native Hospital stepped down, unexpectedly and without reason. This a a guy with a million+ salary, and we all know that CEOs don't quit cushy jobs, they retire or take new offers. Turns out the same day, sexual harrassment was reported to the board. Story here. https://www.adn.com/alaska-news/2021/03/03/anthc-boss-resigned-after-employee-accused-him-of-unrelenting-abuse/ Then last night it was uncovered that his house was for sale. Then his helicopter went missing and debris was found near Kodiak, his last known destination. Now people are blaming the victim for his rumored suicide. I'm just so sick of it. TWO attorneys general have stepped down due to harassment under this governor. The Governor who won because the incumbent Lte Governor stepped down for harassing a woman. Last summer the mayor stepped down after a reporter sent out the nudes he sent her. Alaska has the highest rate of sexual assault in the nation. This is ridiculous that everyone blames it on the native communities and lack of policing. How about men just fucking stop abusing women. Stop abusing their positions and just do their jobs. So fucking tired of the news.
  3. God could EY be any dumber? If I was an employee at EY I'd damn well tell EY to go off and fornicate themselves with this training.
  4. Ugh, another reason to hate the Washington NFL team.
  5. Ugh. money.cnn.com/2017/04/01/media/bill-oreilly-settlements/index.html
  6. Yeah, Butthole O'Really really taught his stalker douchenozzle Jesse Watters well.... deathandtaxesmag.com/327638/jesse-watters-ivanka-trump-microphone/
  7. Yuck huffingtonpost.com/entry/sean-hannity-sex-harassment_us_58fd5c6ee4b00fa7de153d2b?ncid=engmodushpmg00000003 I wonder how long it'll be until Assface Slanthead (h/t Ed Schultz) joins his buddy Butthole O'Really on the unemployment line?
  8. http://nymag.com/thecut/2017/01/man-banned-from-starbucks-for-asking-out-16-year-old-barista.html Once again, a guy assumes the only posititve interaction a female can have with a male is flirting. Gross.
  9. http://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article128599699.html Out of Missouri politics. Looks like we have State Senator Grabby McNameCaller here. Boo?
  10. Where there's smoke there's fire.... nytimes.com/2017/01/10/business/media/bill-oreilly-sexual-harassment-fox-news-juliet-huddy.html
  11. This happened here in Iowa a couple days ago. kcrg.com/content/news/Police-Iowa-DOT-examiner-forced-woman-to-view-sexual-images-380847671.html The article says he retired in March. Hey dummy, if you know you'd lose your job if anyone found out maybe it's not such a good idea to do it in the first place.
  12. The entry this week at Stupid Comics is on "The Calgary Eye-Opener," a Canadian comic book from the 1920s and 1930s containing mildly risque cartoons (by our standards) for men: http://www.misterkitty.org/extras/stupidcovers/stupidcomics478.html While most of the cartoons are neither sexy nor humorous, a number of them use situations that we would now identify as sexual harassment, sexual assault, or date rate as a punch line. If you want to know why so many women didn't report rapes or assaults in the past, looking at these cartoons will enlighten you. This is probably why so many misogynists think feminists are pills and killjoys. "Objecting to jokes about rape and sexual assault? How could you? It's all in good fun!"
  13. This student, while wearing a sweater dress and leggings, was made to kneel in front of her principal in order for her skirt length to me measured. When it was deemed long enough he required she walk around with her hands above her head and kneel again for a second measurement, at which point it had ridden up sufficiently for a dress code violation. If this account is accurate what this principal did, in my opinion, is tantamount to sexual harassment and is beyond disgusting. https://www.yahoo.com/news/teen-protesting-her-schools-dress-174100808.html
  14. http://www.vox.com/2015/12/21/10632508/fitzgibbon-sexual-harassment-progressive Reading stories like this honestly make me wonder if political lesbianism/separatism might be a good idea. Even women working in supposedly progressive and secular workplaces are still treated like Gothard interns. What would it take to make society and men as a whole take women's rights seriously?
  15. New York Post article about a woman harassed 108 times in a single day, as caught on hidden camera. http://nypost.com/2014/10/28/woman-hara ... c-streets/ In the video, she's just walking down the street, not remotely flirty or even making eye contact, wearing a crew neck t-shirt and jeans, both in dark solid colors. If you want your blood pressure to go up a little higher, watch this: Can we say rape culture? No. These men were not merely giving innocent greetings. You give a greeting when you are actually meeting someone, and you look at their face. No. This woman was doing absolutely nothing to attract attention. Unlike a baboon (gross analogy he uses), her buttocks are covered, and are not bright red. I've got the same pair of jeans, and I wear them because they are the most comfortable I've ever found. No. Women don't owe responses to random men cat-calling, and they certainly don't deserve creepy following or nasty comments when all they are doing is ignoring someone. No. This isn't about guys that can't catch a break. Most intelligent human beings know that you don't meet women by randomly harassing someone on the street.
