    Preparing for potential war?

I think this is where to post for a topic for war since it involves politics. I'm worried that's going to be a war. NK's leader isn't any more stable than Trump, and NK is obsessed with bombing us. I want to make contingency plans to get my kids north into Canada if that happens. Everyone including my husband thinks I'm worrying for nothing, and my best friend yelled at me for being "too stressed" about this. I just want to make sure they live. My plans were just to get them passports so that we can drive north if we need to, and to keep a few days supply of food and drink in the trunk with some blankets and a few changes of clothes, and that's being called too much. What is the line for how much we should prepare? All my friends say we shouldn't even bother, and I saw we should have a plan a and b in place.
  2. Hey Guys! I have a fun obsession with North Korea and I enjoy learning about it as much as I can. I've seen all the docs available on Netflix: Crossing the Line National Geographic: Inside North Korea Kimjongilia Seoul Train I was wondering if anyone could recommend some more documentaries, books, tv episodes, etc? Thanks in advance!
  3. Since there's been a few scattered discussions over the forum recently on books about North Korea I thought I would start a thread so we could keep it all in the same place. I'm almost done a new book about North Korea, just published in 2015. It's called Under the same sky: from starvation in North Korea to salvation in America. It's by a young man who was growing up during the famine of the 1990s and early 2000s. The book is really well written and the story is incredibly compelling. I have more to say about it, but I want to wait until I am done for a full assessment. So, what have you read or watched about North Korea lately? I've got two more books from the library about North Korea that I am about to read so I will report on those ones as well!
