Anyone else watching this? It's a Netflix original. I love the 80s movie feeling. It's weird though. I don't know what to think about the actual plot. It's also so weird to see Winona Ryder playing a mom.

Does anyone else LOVE Schitt’s Creek? The name of the show prevented me learning anything about it or watching it, but once I gave it a chance, I was absolutely hooked. I’ve never been much of a fan of Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara, but their roles here totally showcase their immense talent. All of the characters are hilarious and Seasons 3 and 4 has the best romance storyline that I’ve ever watched. If you like shows like Arrested Development, The Office, Parks & Rec, etc., please give Schitt’s a shot. It brings me so much joy!

This TV show (limited, so no second season, TG) was SO good. It's the story of a girl, orphaned, who learns chess, but also battles addiction. The chess parts could be any sport or game, really, it's not necessary to understand the game at all to watch the show. And I'm so glad it's limited, so there won't be more to ruin it. Just a nice, long, self-contained story. Very bingable.

Has anyone seen this film on Netflix? It's written and directed by Aaron Sorkin (and I guess Steven Spielberg?), so if he's not your thing then you likely won't like it, but it's a fictional (with some fairly obvious liberties) retelling of the time when anti-war protesters were arrested and tried in Chicago during the sixties. Sacha Baron Cohen (I wish he would do more drama, he's good at it) plays Abbie Hoffman, a well known 60s Activist. And it took me forever to realize that the Federal Prosecutor was Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

I know this originally aired in 2018 but when I searched "Waco" I couldn't find another thread. Is anyone else watching this/has watched it? I watched the first half in a short period of time but I'm afraid of what comes next. I only had a surface level idea of what all happened and this has been eye opening. Dammit for ruining my Taylor Kitsch crush though. I'll need a lot of Friday Night Lights/Tim Riggins to make up for him as David Koresh.
