Singer-songwriter Christine McVie of the band Fleetwood Mac passed away today November 30 at the age of 79. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musician wrote some of the band’s biggest hits, “Don’t Stop,” “Little Lies,” and “Say That You Love Me.” Seeing her with Fleetwood Mac was one of the best experiences and memories I have. Rest in Peace.

I recently came across/became aware of a lady-fronted death metal band from the Ukraine called "Jinjer". While death metal isn't my thing (as of yet, anyway), the name immediately caught my attention (for obvious reasons). Has anyone else heard of them? I wouldn't be THAT surprised if they'd been mentioned here before, so if they have, I apologize in advance.

End of an era - Best Buy is going to ditch CDs. Yeah, it's been a while since I've bought any CDs, let alone used any of the ones I have now. My car doesn't even have a CD/DVD player. I can count on one hand the number of hours I used the CD/DVD player on my last car. Most of my music is on my laptop now.
