    PCC Cancels Musical Group

Because cancel culture is a leftist thing. Evangelicals are such hypocrites- the group has a gay member so let’s cancel the gays https://www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-news/florida-christian-college-cancels-cappella-group-singers-lifestyle-rcna71028?fbclid=IwAR29TcGABnBeoqPIjL6e5K5-XwWKfpPpIamMydTciNQMLiduyCJn20sXy9s
  2. A restaurant owner in Davenport, Iowa's Village district recently stepped in it up past his mouth Way to fornicate up your business, dude. I certainly won't eat there again when I visit the Quad Cities.
  3. I'm not the only lifelong who decided to depart after the GQP got to work turning Iowa into a Branch Trumpvidian shit hole I'm not LGBTQ but I left because the state was turning into such a GQP shithole that I no longer recognized it. I might not have if I had known further health issues were coming but at least I got to a better place. (It's not the warzone right wing douche cannons want you to believe either).

Garlands of Grace Banned from Etsy

I’m glad you brought this up. Garlands of Grace shared this post in an Etsy group I am in the other day. I got ragey reading the comments because most of the group members were praising her and agreeing with the verse. best comment was (paraphrasing)....comment: why did you even put this in your profile on Etsy? Garlands of Grace replies: We put it is as a quote of the month last year and then decided to leave it for as long as God would allow. Comment: well I guess God decided not to allow it then. Garland and Grace: NO NO, it was the devil! I bout died.
  7. A former security guard and all around loser has been arrrested Gonna hop out on my well worn limb and guess this guy was a fuck face supporter.
  8. Hopefully this guy is going away for a very long time.
  9. I am appalled that apparently some 700,000 LGBTQ-identifying adults have gone through some form of conversion therapy. All because some fundamentalist religion says you aren't allowed to be who you are. This dude was so in denial of who he was that he founded one of the largest conversion therapy programs in America, and speaks of how told his wife he kept feeling the attraction although he really didn't want to. I kinda feel sorry for him for that, but I have to admit that feeling is surpassed by my feelings of anger towards him, for pushing conversion therapy onto so many LGBTQ people -- and profiting from it. Conversion therapy group founder comes out as gay, apologizes [There is a video interview embedded in the quote.]
  10. Ugh Tell you what, folks. Next time Alabama wants to secede and stop dragging down the rest of the country they can go.
  11. Ugh These churches need to have the piss taxed out of them. And I wonder how many gay skeletons are in Boyle's closet?
  12. Yeah you go with that Chick-fil-A Yeah next time I'll go to a Chick-fil-A is five minutes after hell freezes over.
  13. https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/high-4 4schooler-posted-bible-verses-response-pride-flags-suspended-targeting-gay-straight-alliance-club-221144568.html?fbclid=IwAR1Hc8eOupuOFDN6uLUZG7IhHfsULipvrmi2PPT7bfBBobTzyq48vj0TEDw This came across my Facebook feed today courtesy of a friend who cited it as an example of how Christians are being persecuted because of the "gay agenda ." "A student in Ohio claims she received a day of in-school suspension after she hung Bible verses on walls and lockers in response to LGBTQ pride flags decorating the halls. The teen also alleges that her principal said she was “targeting the [Gay-Straight Alliance] organization.” In a video shared on her mother’s Facebook page, Gabby Helsinger details the incident that occurred at Lebanon High School. Her mother, Tina Helsinger, captioned the video, “Lebanon schools celebrates [sic] evil and punishes righteousness!!”" In short, she victimized gay students and their supporters by putting bible verses on their lockers admonishing homosexuality, but she and her mom are claiming she's the victim. The cognitive dissonance drives me nuts.
  14. One of the lawyers who represented Kim Davis said it. http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2017/01/23/christian-lawyer-claims-orlando-cops-need-to-get-tested-for-aids-because-of-gay-shooting-victims/ Link contains a link to the audio player of Mat Staver making the claim.
  15. LGL, Lithuania's main (only?) LGBT organization was targeted in an arson attack in early August. The doors were set on fire, but it was put out by taxi driver. Now, somebody has set fire in the apartment building where Romas Zabarauskas lives. Zabarauskas is popular LGBTQ+ activist and film maker, who, following the first attack on LGL, put a rainbow flag on his balcony as a sign of support. When he told the police that he suspects the second attack was linked to that, they told him to take down the flag "before the whole house burns down". Nice. The latest updates say that Zabarauskas managed to raise 1,500 euros to buy and give away 500 flags for Lithuanian LGBTQ+ community and allies to put on their own balconies. They even managed to put a rainbow flag on Vilnius municipality. Still horrifying. Especially if second attack was indeed meant for Zabarauskas and somebody just had their apartment door burned because they happen to have a gay neighbor. Police reaction... Cmoon. Hell no. PinkNews story on first attack on LGL: https://www.pinknews.co.uk/2018/08/10/lithuanian-gay-league-arson-vilnius-lgbt/ Romas Zabarauskas Twitter with his updates: https://twitter.com/rzabarauskas/status/1036577769201778688

    Wackadoo Ultra-Orthodox Car

SciBabe shared this photo on Facebook. An amalgamation of anti-feminism, slut shaming, homophobia, creationism, anti-choice bumperstickers with ultra-Orthodox Jewish flair. This person really ought to update the "5773" bumper stickers. On the "Modern Girls: Forget Mincha! Dress modestly" sticker, mincha is afternoon prayer. So, prayer is not as important as dressing modestly and we should spend our time on that instead. Don't even know how to respond to the "Shul talkers cause cancer" sticker, just opening my mouth wordlessly like a fish because WHAT?
