  1. Lori and Ken still can not quit the internet and continue to babble about nothing. They have however, scrubbed the internets of their praise of Josh Dugger. Too bad FJ never forgets... Continue you discussion and while you are at it, don't forget to employ some GoogleTactics[tm][/tm]. Part 1: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=26285 Part 2: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=26285 Part 3: http://www.freejinger.org/topic/24215-lori-alexander-still-not-learning-a-thing-part-3/?page=1

  3. Part 1: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=25361 I haven't been following this thread lately, so if someone else would like to post a summary it would be appreciated.
  4. ~extreme selfishness (putting the needs of yourself BEFORE the needs of your infants/children) ~grandiose view of one's own talents (thinking you've saved thousands of marriages) ~craving for admiration (constantly reminding people you are a "Godly" older woman and therefore have a say in their life. Editing comments to reflect praise that has not been given) Yep, you totally nailed it Lori. You are a classic narcissist! Well done.
  5. Lori is becoming a celeb, I guess. She was interviewed on the radio. I haven't listened to it yet, but here is the link: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/cwa-radio/ ... y-of-faith
  6. New business idea from Kenny. Women, and women only do not know how to live without the internet. Answer? Bootcamp. Learn to do housework for 2-3 hours a day- no less, no more. There are big bucks in this. And Everything, no exceptions, is always the females fault.
  7. Well, I think the Alexanders may be feeling the heat of the big thread we have going on (I started a new one just to focus on one of her more recent additions!). Lori posted about not being liked, and being unpopular. Ken answers comments for her and calls us left-wing liberals again. All in a day's work, FJ! My favorite exchange is in the comments: Ken: "...Why is it that some can hide behind anonymous monikers yet threaten to "out" Christian bloggers with small children who need protection (could he mean the Rodrigueses?!) or want to destroy a blogger's business because of his religious views? (I wouldn't say "destroy", per se...maybe just "helpfully inform clientele"...) They have inconsistent values that they apply to themselves only when it serves them to do so. They stand as judge, jury and desire to be jailer towards Christian bloggers (Nah, mostly just hypocrites. FJ universally despises hypocrites.). Many a blog has been brought down by such individuals and all because they simply disagree?" (They have?) Francoise (reader): "I can see how this would be an annoyance, but no more than that. Remember what Christians go through in other countries! Thank goodness you live in a country where citizens are ALLOWED to disagree with each other. God bless and thank you for your wonderful blog." Props to you, Francoise. lorialexander.blogspot.com/2015/01/dogs-yelping-at-my-heels.html Edited for riffles...
  8. In really not news, Lori talks about women in church: lorialexander.blogspot.com/2013/08/women-silenced-in-church.html It seemed about time we had a new Lori and Ken thread.
  9. Lori was recently scolding another commenter on Robert's blogs, reminding her that FEELINGS have no place in a Christian's life. She proves her viewpoint with this statement today: Seriously?!? Does anybody else thing that's the coldest thing a blogger could type? Imagine this poor man's wife settling in to read Lori's (heh...Godly??) blog, and seeing those words. She is surely aware that her husband is near death but to see a fellow "Christian" present it with such callousness is just mind blowing. I can picture her shrugging her shoulders as she says "Meh... at least she never nagged him..." Ken, do this grieving family a favor and keep Lori far away from them when their loved one passes away. Nobody needs the kind of "comfort" you and Lori can offer.
  10. I don't have time to review Lori's foolishness today...Christmas cookies to bake and all that. I DO have time to chime in and point out that Aunt Genny has once again taken the Godly Mentor down a peg. Team Aunt Genny. That is all.
  11. Sometimes I think Ken lives to contradict Lori. Today he was patting himself and Lori on the back for what stellar parents they were. Of course, if you've read Lori's blog for any length of time, you can't help but wonder if these two raised the same 4 children. Ken: So according to Ken, what he and Lori did best was to not show emotion or get upset when sending their kids off to timeout. In fact, they sometimes laughed! (because nothing says good parenting like mixed messages) According to Ken, the fireplace (for timeout) was their main disciplinary tool: Now let's get Lori's side of the story: Hmm...that's odd. So did they use time outs as their main tool of discipline, or did they not resort to timeouts??? Oh well, whatever they did, at least they did it in an unemotional, matter of fact manner Lori: Ken: We were great parents! Unemotional timeouts! We didn't get upset! We laughed! Lori: We were great parents! I didn't have to resort to timeouts! I was usually so upset that I spanked them in anger! No contradictions there. Nope. None at all.
  12. Yes, you heard that right. Criticizing Lori is NOT Biblical unless you do so via email. Now granted, Lori uses her blog as a means to attack her readers (sometimes dedicating a whole post to one comment instead of simply emailing the person in question). In this very post she referred bottle feeding moms as "selfish", but that's beside the point because Puritanical Godly Mentor Lori deserves special treatment. Lori Alexander: This comment followed this exchange with a reader: Reader: Lori? Leaving out pertinent parts of a conversation??? Say it ain't so! Lori Alexander: psssttt Lori...you're true colors are showing agian
  13. Lori doesn't always write a blog post telling us that her family isn't "perfect", but when she does it's to tell us that her family is indeed "perfect" Lori Alexander: As a matter of fact... Ken Alexander (from his time here at FJ) Dear Lori, Do you find it at all odd that you feel the need to reassure the world that your family isn't perfect? Trust me, there was never any doubt
