    Love Me

I first saw 'Love Me' on Netflix back in 2014. It covers the topic of foreign marriage brokers and international dating, known more commonly as 'mail order brides'. I enjoyed this documentary as it did not portray the topic matter in a hokey or slanted manner. I like that there were perspectives offered from the American men and some of the Ukraine women involved. This opens many doors of "What is love?", how does American entitlement play into relationships, how do customs play into adult relationships? I know this used to be on Netflix, it is now on Amazon Prime Video and YouTube for viewi
  2. "I Survived I kissed dating goodbye" is being made by a woman who goes to the same Theology School as Josh Harris. She outlines it: "Through following Joshua Harris as he engages his critics, his fans and various Christian leaders, we get to see the complexities surrounding sexuality finally given expression and attention." So.
  3. Have you guys seen this? http://www.npr.org/2016/07/10/485432485/former-evangelical-pastor-rethinks-his-approach-to-courtship Josh Harris:
  4. https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/when-god-sends-your-white-daughter-a-black-husband This gracious mom was able to "die to her expectations" even when her daughter chose to marry a black man.
  5. This website has been doing this 30 Days of Love Challenge thing leading up to Valentine's Day. Every day you're supposed to do a prescribed date/event for your "sweetie." Today's "date" just takes the cake. It's a date pairing Little Caesar's pizza with lingerie. Because nothing says sexy like a $5 pizza. I can't even. thedatingdivas.com/tara/divas30daylovechallenge-day-20/ And you can't forget the free printable invitation! thedatingdivas.com/wp-content/uploads/Becca-Hot-N-Ready-Printable.pdf I was showing some of the other dates to my husband
  6. This might be one of the dumbest things I've ever read...and that's saying something. I mean, I've read Demonbuster.com, where they think paisley is evil. PAISLEY. Anyway, here is the article: mindbodygreen.com/0-12345/5-qualities-that-women-find-irresistible-in-men.html Note how those are supposedly "masculine" traits. It makes no sense. I like most of the comments, though. Gives me hope.
  7. I've been away for a few weeks, and I'm trying to catch up. I did a quick scan of her instagram and I don't see him anywhere. What was his name? Something Samps, I think. Is he toast? edited because I should learn to check for typos before I post
  8. A delightful and engaging guest post by Marky's bestest pal, Chrisopher in Oregon, interspersed with commentary from Marky. markymarksthoughts.blogspot.ca/2013/11/women-nature-god-and-harleys-by.html You can fool some of the people some of the time Then why do you sound so unhappy, whinging about women (who don't want you) all. the. time......heck, your whole blog is just one huge whingefest.

    What the fuck?

Is it just me or do 'red pill' relationships that know da troof never seem that healthy? redpillwifery.wordpress.com/2013/06/05/a-cautionary-tale/
  10. Eivind Berge is a Norwegian MRA who has one a top 100 quote on FSTDT and got into a comment spar-fest in the comments section. Well, different from the comments back then, he now has a girlfriend. What do you think? emmatheemo.wordpress.com
  11. She did another interview with Examiner and mentioned how she and her boyfriend have gone ring shopping. Apparently, her family already knows how he's going to propose but they're not dishing out any details to Fame Whore. Kudos to Reed for managing to put up with her for this long. Of course, she's introducing him on the show, which means, just like her last bf when he was on, she'll end up posting a message on twitter saying they went their separate ways and blah blah blah Ah and yes, she gave a big "fuck you" to us when she explained why she doesn't have a "steady career"--it's
  12. I was browsing through a website and found this pic of Amy and her boyfriend...good for her! I love love that she chose a path of freedom (something the duggar girls may not ever experience)...p.s. check out those muscles! wow very impressive! http://duggars.tumblr.com/post/28417744 ... er-bf-reed
  13. Saw this in the advice column of my paper today: http://www.thestar.com/living/article/1 ... of-carrots A different culture, but it reminded me of some of the fundie guys that Miss Raquel interviews in terms of inability to accept rejection by a woman.
  14. The latest from the mother of Conservapedia, Phyllis Schlafly. Feminists on here, be warned: you are essentially unlikable. http://www.postandcourier.com/article/2 ... 564&slId=6 Why on earth was she invited to a public military school? And is she really the best representation we have of Conservative Intellectual Tradition in America?

    Famy's back on the stick

I hadn't seen this posted. Amy's got a new boyfriend. He's actually pretty cute. Of course, they met on facebook. https://www.examiner.com/19-kids-and-co ... ive-interv Just keep telling yourself the buzz is good, Famy.
  16. Was anyone else surprised by how opinionated Jinger was during the segment? It seemed like several times, when Jill started to answer a question that was contrary to Jinger's opinion, Jinger jumped in and tried to shush or correct Jill. So much for Jinger being one of the first ones to break away. And, so much for Jinger respecting an older sibling. Also, I was surprised to see how loving and caring Jessa appeared when she said how she has 10 brothers and she has kissed all 10 of them. We usually don't see that kind of warmth displayed between the older siblings.
  17. I was looking for a Duggars episode list on Wikipedia (catching up while recovering from my widsom teeth extraction, nothing better to do), and I found this gem about episode 12 of season 7, that will air next Tuesday: "Dan Harris visits the Duggars for a day; the older girls host a dating seminar; Michelle is concerned when Josie becomes sick" What the do they know about DATING ???
