I promise I have a good reason for posting this in this particular forum. So a young woman in England has developed a system that will allow men to potentially lactate and be capable of nursing their children. Her reasoning is, during a study of post-partum depression she discovered that many men feel a similar low at that same time. Men tend to feel left out or that they lack a bond with their child and sometimes women have issues trying to breastfeed and the PPD just accelerates the frustration. I could see where this could solve some early issues for the babies...latching, lack of lactation, etc. Obviously there are a lot of opinions on both side of the coin. https://kprcradio.iheart.com/featured/walton-and-johnson/content/2019-02-27-watch-new-invention-helps-men-breastfeed-lactate/?fbclid=IwAR2TB_8UoM49muL-BB1Ybx5mOOsQhSn1b8iESqXjB-aBQzEdLbvOh7eojpQ I've read several MRA forums where the men feel offended that their children have or do prefer the mother or they are actually jealous about the fact that women alone get the experience of carrying and caring for a baby. When they are bitching about all the perks that women have in life this is one that pops up very frequently. Many of these men don't want a relationship or a woman in their life at all, they simply want a child. Well. Here ya go guys!! You want that opportunity? You want to raise your child without the "hassle" of a woman? It's finally becoming a possibility. I would love to see how many of those assholes would actually be game for something like this.

http://nymag.com/thecut/2016/04/woman-told-to-stop-breast-feeding-in-courtroom.html# So apparently this judge doesn't know the law. It also seems to be a case where a male in power (the ability to change the custody agreement for her 8 year old) condescends to her and stops her from doing something that she is legally allowed to do. Is this the newest form of sexual harassment?

This opinion may not be popular, but I feel there's double standard here. IIt reminds me of how certain Fundies' are oh so cautious about their modesty before being pregnant, then start wearing tighter clothes after the baby bump. Why is it ok after pregnancy to wear skin tight clothes and pop out a boob in public, but yet you 'slut- shaming' as a non-pregnant women? It also says she's anti-vax. http://www.tampabay.com/news/humaninterest/zephyrhills-mom-goes-viral-after-posting-breastfeeding-photo-on-facebook/2256503

MERGE: Zsu chides Erica of LFOP/Erica of LFOP Annihilated
NotALoserLikeYou posted a topic in Erika *gag* Shupe (Large Families on Purpose)
Including Zsu! facebook.com/LargeFamiliesOnPurpose Erika posted a link to this article: foxnews.com/health/2014/08/13/new-method-to-help-newborns-sleep-through-night/ Which takes abusive sleep training tactics to the next level by suggesting you start with newborns. Why wait until they are the ripe old age of 6 weeks? She states she has been doing this for 16 years which shouldn't surprise anyone. But instead of likes and support, she got a ton of comments about how neglectful and cruel this is, not to mention unscientific, since babies have small stomachs and need to eat. And God designed them that way so that is even further proof that we should feed them as needed. Each of those comments got tons of likes. So this made me thrilled and then Zsu chimed in, also agreeing that this was bad advice, and then taking it to another level that involved bashing Erika for using birth control: Oooo in your face, Erika. Are they enemies? Because I like that. Basically she is saying God designed women to breastfeed frequently, and that prevents another pregnancy from happening too soon. If you don't breastfeed so much you might have to have abortions, I mean use birth control. So knowing that Erika is probably pissed off and squirming has made my day. She has yet to respond.- 93 replies
