  1. Continued from here ... Thanks @usedbicycle for the thread title.
  2. After reading in a Maxwell thread that they attended the Bontrager family's "Live animal Christmas play" (who wants to bet their standards of animal safety and welfare are not high?) I went to their blog and read a few posts about it. You might be shocked to find out it's fucking gross and offensive. The plot revolves around a Jewish family escaping the Holocaust into Switzerland, being witnessed to by some (rather buxom) Swiss ladies, and converting to Christianity (sorry, accepting Jesus as their savior) after hearing the Christmas story. Barf. Complete with Midwestern white Christians in concentration camp drag. http://bontragersingers.blogspot.com/2017/01/live-animal-christmas-play-2016-in.html?m=1 Snark away.
  3. The Bontragers (who are better musicians than the Duggars, IMHO) have announced that the Duggars are joining them in Iowa for a Labor Day concert: bontragersingers.blogspot.com There are some courtship possibilities there. Wonder if it will be filmed for next season of TLC?

    Duggar Friends the Bontragers

I've been looking thru their blog--they travel tons, but raise or hunt animals for meat, pick fruit and freeze it, use a clothesline and even use decent homeschooling materials--at least I spotted a Teaching Textbooks math book and those are outstanding. Maybe they could show the Duggars how to garden, freeze FRESH fruit and install a huge clothes line to save money??? Looks like one of the parents was Mennonite .... bontragersingers.blogspot.com
