From Useful Charts ( I love this channel), video shows the lineage of the Bible Transations in English we know today. I figured some of you may be interested since we have multiple KJV only fundies. (Trivia not included in the video that I remember from another source, The Geneva Bible was the one the Pilgrims used).

Just stumbled across this great article about original versions of the Bible and how modern translations have changed the original wording to show the Bible forbidding homosexuality. The original translations from the Greek forbid men lying with boys (pederasty). Has “Homosexual” always been in the Bible? Here's the wiki on the KJV: King James Only movement American Baptists/evangelicals who believe that the KJV is divinely inspired is only one aspect of the King James Only movement.

The Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C. is set to have its grand opening on Saturday. No surprise, the museum is hosting a black tie gala at the Trump hotel tonight. The museum is reportedly free which may encourage many of our favorite fundies to make the pilgrimage. I actually received a flyer for the museum in the mail -- seeing how DC voted in the last election, I don't think we are their target audience! https://www.museumofthebible.org/

.... because you don’t know when tragedy will strike. Reader story. She describes her morning, which includes running 5k on a treadmill every day at 6am... after half an hour reading the Bible, of course. One day she did all this as normal... and the following evening she and her husband were in an ambulance, as he’d suffered bleeding on the brain. Doesn’t mention what caused it. Basically, READ YOUR BIBLE. That’s the most important thing. Not “spend as much time as you can with your family”, make sure you read your Bible everyday. *eyeroll*
