Maybe this is old news to those of you who have been on FJ for a while, but it's blowing my mind. I was trying to catch up on some No Longer Qivering posts (I'm lukewarm on these and sort of skim-read) but found a post that had 53 comments...called "Why Betrothal isn't the Answer" which was cross-posted from the blog "True Love Doesn't Rape". The reason for all the comments is that the blog author had borrowed a publicly available photo of Laura Camp to illustrate the post and her mom showed up to try to get it removed but was being rude. Anyway, that's a side note to my main point
This is a video about the marriage of Naomi from Everyday Set-Apart. She and her husband have been legally married since May (the betrothal ceremony), but they didn't have the religious ceremony until September, and she lived with her family during that entire time.
