    Anna Marie has Breast Cancer

The family just posted that Anna Marie has breast cancer and will have to be induced as soon as possible to have surgery. I feel awful for them. My cousin had a very aggressive form of breast cancer and died less than a year later at 44.

NR Anna Baby #4 -Daniel has been born

I hope it isn't too early to start a thread like this, since they said NR Anna isn't due for about a month, but I wanted to write my guesses down while I was thinking about it. I'll go with: July 20th at 4:50 pm 9 lbs, 1 oz. Samuel or Noah for a boy Claudia or Rebecca for a girl

Anna-Marie Maxwell is pregnant with #4!

I was seriously tempted to dump this in with the Maxhell Thanksgiving thread, since they did the same thing on the blog (seriously... who announces a pregnancy as an afterthought to 7-layer salad?), but I figured it was time I learned how to start a topic anyway.
  5. It's been 5 years since the Maxwells, as Sarah put it I predict the event will be celebrated with a family meal and special family bible time.
  6. NR Anna is due mid-March so I thought we should start a thread. Oh and Steve and Teri are having another fast March 23. NR should have the baby before then. Hope she doesn't have to partake in the fast.

Maxwell Update" Anna-Marie in "Active" Labor

Maybe I'm ignorant, but is there a difference between active & passive labor?
  8. Here are most of the characteristics that they take into consideration when choosing a name: Bible-based The character traits of the person(s) in Scripture with the name (good and bad) The meaning of the name How the meaning of the first and middle names combine for a custom name meaning/life vision How the first->middle->last sound together The initials Whether we, [Christopher and Anna Marie], like the name. They also let us know they are going to spend one hour working on baby names. At least the kid won't be named after Steve or Teri.

    Anna Maxwell is 38 weeks.

"She is quite content to wait." Most women at 38 weeks have swollen ankles, aching back, and/or can't wait to pop that kid! She does look good pregnant.
  10. Sarah posted some very cute pic's of the littlest Maxwell's playing in the leaves. The girls are sure turning into beauties. I think Nat & Mel will have their hands full when they grow up. She also posted a pic of Chris's family. Anna looks so big for not being due until late Feb. I wonder if she's having twins. (not snarking) She looks so uncomfortable. I hope the reversals "bless" her with lots of help so she can put her feet up once and awhile. Chris doesn't look quite as lean as he did before his marriage. I guess he is finally able to control his own portion sizes.

    Christoper and Anna Maxwell expecting

See the last photo in the blog.... titus2.com/blog/index.php/2013/07/01/joshuas-learning-to-walk/
  12. As I'm looking through the holiday pictures of the Maxwell baby cousins, I noticed how different Melanie and NR-Anna are in what they wear and where they came from. NR-Anna grew up practically Amish with her frumpers and goat milk soap business. Melanie attended church, dressed in "normal" clothing and had a father who acquired higher education (he is a chiropractor if I remember). Melanie' daughters seem like lively girls dressed in cute and modern clothing. NR-Anna will probably dress any future daughters in matching, home-made frumpers. The cousins from these families are babies now, but I think their different upbringing could cause conflict in the future. I can imagine Joshua Maxwell growing up feeling entitled like another fundie Josh we know. What happens when his female cousins call him on his crap? Or refuse to treat him with the deference that he was raised to expect? Will Melanie want to continue to interact with such crazy family members if it starts affecting her children? Will NR-Anna want to mingle with such "liberal" members if her children are exposed to such ideas like college for girls? If Steve is still alive for this, how will he react? Despite the Maxwell's extreme isolation tendencies, every time they allow an outsider to marry into the family, they will experience nonMaxwell conflicts. I wonder if we will ever see the day when the Maxwell kids, each with families, will start getting pulled in different directions. Casa Maxwell may never see past the third generation.
  13. We speculated in the past that NR Anna would sew herself up some frumpers that would make BF-ing easy. There are some pictures up today of both Melanie and Anna. Anna has a T-shirt under a frumper (looks like the frumper buttons in the back near each shoulder blade). Melanie is wearing a T-shirt. While Melanie's outfit would make nursing easier than Anna's outfit, neither outfit would be a modest solution to nursing in front of the menfolk. Is it possible both babies are bottle fed? Either way, both ladies look great, and happy.

    More Maxwell photos.....

House work blah blah blah..... Another baby "photo session".... man, are they doing these daily?!? Formal shots are ok, but I like casual ones. For a family that is "so busy", they sure have a lot of time for formal "photo sessions"....

    It's a Maxwell BOY

    Details at noon central time!

    More pictures of Joshua Maxwell

Sarah posted a few more pictures of JCM. The "Anna Marie radiates with joy of motherhood" crap irritated the hell out of me for some reason. titus2.com/blog/

    NR-Anna might be in labor!

Read all about it; titus2.com/blog/ Which will it be, FJers? Girl or boy?
  18. Both Mommies look very happy. I guess Anna could go another week. Don't they generally induce around 42 weeks if labor hasn't started? I wonder if Stevie would allow one or both to be born on a Sunday?
  19. and are they trying to make her look like she's 12??? For the love of god. http://www.titus2.com/blog/index.php/2012/05/28/four-generations/
  20. WonderingInWA

    Where is that Maxwell baby?

The Maxwells have been awfully quiet. I have to admit I'm dying to know if the baby has been born. I'm patheticly curious.
  21. I guess first babies can take some time. Since she was contracting on Mothers Day, it's got to be hard to wait..... Though I see Stevie is taking advantage of the fact that people are most likely checking the blog daily and slapping up a OneTonoffRamp ad...
  22. Contractions have started. But, with a first, they could start/stop for many days. The pictures of Mary reading her bible with her had on Anna's tummy and the closeup of Anna's tumy with Chris's hand are kindof "strange". This pending birth must be so hard for Nathan & Mel, remembering how they lost their first.
  23. Lots of material for us to discuss, so have at it!; titus2.com/blog/
  24. To get us all excited, Stevie Sarah has posted a blog telling us what is "Coming Soon" to the Maxwell blog...
  25. If I remember correctly, Anna is due in April. I don't know when. They've only posted her pregnancy was going well a couple of times. Then, I believe Mel is due next month. I hope they post when Anna delivers. Though, it would be just like Steve to not allow a post since he knows it's the one thing his "followers" would like to know.
