All right, Cincinnati, it is time for this town to GET DOWN! Reposting the link I shared over in JRod's corner, the Hold My Order, Terrible Dresser podcast that looks back at the show's entire run and has (IMO) some really interesting analysis. It actually wrapped a while back but as of this writing they're doing "reruns," so it's a good time to jump onboard: https://www.holdmyorderterribledresser.com/ And here's a blog that's almost completed its five-year (plus) mission to rewatch and comment on every episode—good if you just want commentary on select episodes: http://wkr

Supernatural peeps? Anybody? If you're out there, get in here! Supernatural is back for its 14th season! Spoilers below! The season opener, for me, hovered at "okay" with a bit of "meh." I have almost infinite patience for the show, though, and am hoping that this exposition episode sets the scene for some better action later on. Dean as Michael: cool to see a different character by Jensen, but the cold, emotionless expression could get boring quickly. And I'm already over the Peaky Blinders outfit. I like Jensen in his flannels! There were actually very few scenes with Michael/Dean,

I just finished watching the first part of season 1 of Star Trek Discovery and I am in LOVE. It feels like no other Star Trek series before, it's dark and gritty and realistic. There will be no reset button or self contained episodes here. I've noticed three firsts so far - the word fuck, same sex kiss, and nudity. Whoever was holding them back is clearly out of the way now. A lot of people are hating on it because it's a different feel than other series without evaluating it on its own merits. I personally think it's absolutely amazing.

What does everyone think about Married at First Sight? I kinda find it strange. Especially after seeing the second season I would never do it. That season scared me.

Anyone else watch Better Call Saul? I'm usually not into spin-offs or prequels, but I like this show a lot more than Breaking Bad. While I was interested enough in the storyline of B.B. to watch it at the end, I wasn't really engaged with it the same way I am with B.C.S. If it weren't for me having to work early-ish on Mondays, I would stay up to watch it (I live in Europe, so it's really late/early when it gets put online) Unlike other shows I was into from the beginning, like Big Bang Theory, B.C.S. seems to get better with time. Jimmy really is a character I have grown to love ove

Anyone here watch Humans on Channel 4 last year? It was really good and they're putting series 2 up soon. This was in the UK but was it on in the US too?

Anyone else watching this? It's a Netflix original. I love the 80s movie feeling. It's weird though. I don't know what to think about the actual plot. It's also so weird to see Winona Ryder playing a mom.

I cut out some of the props for the show when I cut them they are kind of boring just plain but when special effects are done with them they look far better. the librarians is aimed here in portland and this show that I did the work on was filed at omsk close to my shop. so the first pics are the gears when I am done with them. the rest are from the show.

This is a new show starting soon on TBS on Tuesdays.... appears to be fairly amusing comedy about a planeload of passengers who have crash-landed on an island. Previews look good. Anyone seen this yet?

Is anyone watching this? It's an Amazon original series, and the entire first season is now up for streaming. It's based on the Phillip K. Dick alternative history/sci-fi novel that takes as its starting point how the US would look if they had *not* won WWII. We just watched the final episode in Season 1 (Season 2 will be up sometime later this year--they did renew it for one more), and have really enjoyed it. Anyway, I'm dying to discuss theories if anyone else watches/has watched it! Just make sure spoilers are under spoiler tags.
