ROTFLMAO. Couldn't have happened to a better guy. And he made it even worse for himself on Tucker Carlson tonight.

    Moscow Mitch McConnell

At @Howls suggestion, this is a separate thread to discuss the nefarious, unpatriotic and treacherous #MoscowMitch the Russian asset. Here he is being heckled in his home state of Kentucky...

    Roger Stone

Roger Stone will have a trial at some point, he's still being provocative, and well, he's so very Roger Stone, so I think he should have his own thread. Here's the latest. Plus, we need a place to speculate on why this asshat has not been grabbed off the street and thrown in a dank, nasty cell. I'd also like to note that "shifty, duplicitous con man" are not attributes of Shiff, but do apply to a certain shifty, duplicitous conman in the WH. These are the terms of Stone's current gag order (from Judge imposes full gag order on Roger Stone, The Hill, Feb 21, 2019) We watch Ari Melber in the evenings. He has a pretty amazing range of people on his show, including, on occasion, Stone associates Jerome Corsi, Sam Nunn and sidekick/frenemy Randy Credico, where their bat-shit eccentricity is on full display. Truly, it never disappoints. Michael Caputo and Carter Page were on this past week. There's this thing where Roger Stone has been threatening to dog nap Randy's "therapy" dog Bianca for YEARS because Stone doesn't think Randy (who has a history of drug and alcohol abuse) can care for her properly. This flared up in late January, when Stone's threat to dog nap Bianca was an element of Mueller's indictment. I can't remember who said it, but there was a reference by one of Ari's guests to Roger Stone's houseful of three-legged dogs.
  5. Continued from here: Pence is definitely spouting the party line. Of course, he forgets about the impact all the Mango Moron's tariffs are having on average Americans.

    Political Ads

With so many ads coming out on a daily basis it seems a good idea to have a separate thread to post them all in.
  7. Continued from here: By the way, there is a Four Seasons Bar. It is in Metaire, LA. Oh, and it's a gay bar.
  8. I just don't see this ending the way she wants.

    Local Politics

Thought I'd get something going for the more local political stuff. Our county treasurer is retiring next January. He was up for election again next year and most likely would have won again if he had decided to run. County Supervisors asked why he wanted to leave a year early and his reply was that he was just done. I do wonder though, if one reads in between the lines he just ran headfirst into some GQP male bovine excrement from a Branch Trumpvidian - elected or otherwise - one time too many and said fornicate it, I'm done?
  10. @iweartanktops suggested a Sean Spicer thread. Since he's a stain who isn't going away, I agree with her. So, here we go...a place to talk about the chief liar/spokesperson. Here are a couple of memes from Twitter that I thought were apropos.
  11. I've been thinking about starting this thread for awhile, to aggregate all examples of the following at the local, state, and Federal levels heading toward the 2020 elections: voter suppression indifference to protecting election integrity indifference to election cyber security blatant gerrymandering continued Russian interference/hacking indifference to continued Russian interference/hacking Y'all may have been following Texas' latest foray into voter suppression when Gov. Greg Abbott's nominee for Texas Secretary of State attempted to prove his fitness for office ahead of his confirmation vote this past week by releasing a wildly inaccurate list of 95,000 names of people who may have voted illegally since 1995. Most of these were the names of naturalized citizens who were perfectly legal voters. If one were a naturalized citizen whose name was on the list, you had a brief 30-day window to prove you are a legal US citizen, to maintain voter eligibility. Blatant, right? I can promise you that this scared the crap out of so many Hispanic Texans, as it was intended to do. You may also recall a 2018 incident from the Rio Grande Valley where a midwife admitted to forging a birth certificate for a baby actually born on the Mexican side of the border. A decision was made to revoke the citizenship of other babies born in the US to long-time residents who were delivered by this midwife. Again, that sends a clear and terrifying message to Hispanics, as it was intended to do. Then this popped up on Twitter this morning. In response to Betsy Woodruff's tweet below, a Tweeter quoted Sarah Kendzior: “These are the actions of a party that expects to never need to win a fair election again” This is the Department of Homeland F**king Security.
  12. Stephen Miller, who was described as "least popular boy at vampire school" by John Oliver, soon may be more visible during daylight hours. This is not an improvement. "Trump adviser Stephen Miller could expand White House role, but talks remain informal"
  13. Since we have a dedicated thread for news about the various State Senates, I thought I'd get one going about the various State Houses of Representatives I'll start with someone from Iowa who's gone to the Steve King school of political discourse; kcrg.com/content/news/Iowa-GOP-legislator-taking-heat-for-comments-about-gay-men-417135443.html Rep Watts, Fornicate you.
  14. In light of her recent promotion, figured it was time for her to have her own thread. A little background on Stefanik:
  15. With the way she is deftly handling the press on a daily basis, Jen deserves her own thread. Here she is competently pointing out the false implications a Faux reporter attempted to make. It's so obvious that Faux isn't used to intelligence in the White House.

    United States Governors 2

Continued from here: This is a good read: "The three Republican prairie-state governors might as well be one"
  17. Continued from here: We can all use a laugh:
  18. Continued from here: Junior needs to ditch the beard. It's not attractive and we can still see his face. "Donald Trump Jr. agrees to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee again"

    President Obama

I thought I'd start a thread to talk about the last (to date) legitimate President of the United States. No it's not Fuck Face von Grand Wizard. It's President Barack Obama. He had this to say about the Parkland anniversary today; I have no interest in what aforementioned Fuck Face has to say about the anniversary cause it's probably just a bunch of horseshit.

    Mike Huckabee

I just saw that Mike Huckabee has a show premiering on TBN this October: If you ever watched Paul and Jan Crouch for the snark factor, this is the channel they were on. This video looks a lot like an ad for a presidential campaign to me. Could Huckabee be hedging his bets that Trump won't be running again in 2020?
