"Jim Bob is crying all the time"

In the current season, when Jill & Derrick are wedding band shopping, J'Chelle comments that J'Boob is crying all the time about Jill getting married. She assumes it is harder for a dad to see his daughter get married. I wonder if this is just some proof (provided unintentionally) of how disconnected J'Chelle is from her offspring? She keeps saying it is bittersweet to lose her children to marriage, but it is always in that saccharine baby voice with no trace of true emotion on her face. Sometimes it seems that she is narrating another person's life.

    No shoe modesty!

Michelle and the girls talks about shoes for Jill's wedding and they are talking about Shoe Modesty. Michelle says we don't have any modesty issues for footwear. because there isn't much you can do that is immodest with a shoe. How ironic consider what Bill Gothard did. http://www.tlc.com/tv-shows/19-kids-and ... cpgn=snag1
  4. This was posted on a mommy blog I follow. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!!! http://www.mommyish.com/2014/09/21/diff ... e-duggars/ Ah, the Duggars. Loyal Mommyish readers know that this family is a topic close to my heart. I actually do like watching the show sometimes- the kids can be such sweethearts and it is clear they all love each other very much but of course, there is a lot to criticize too. However, it can be hard to love them or hate them if you can’t tell Jermajesty Duggar from Joshua Duggar (tricked ya there…no Jermajesty…yet). So, us helpful ladies in the Mommyish offices decided it might be a good idea for you all to have a comprehensive reference in order to tell the key adult members of the family apart (I won’t pick apart the little ones…that’s low, even for me). Behold- the Mommyish guide to differentiating the Duggars. Joshua Duggar The oldest kid in the Duggar clan and the first to have a creepy wedding day first kiss, Josh is starting to make a name for himself in Washington, DC in an attempt to make a go at a career in politics. If the idea of a born-and-raised misogynist having a say in any political policy makes your stomach turn, then join the club. I hate thinking of this creep making decisions about a woman’s uterus when all he has are chaste Duggar balls. Josh, 26, is married to Anna Keller-Duggar and they already have three kids. It would appear they are making a go at out-procreating Michelle and Jim-Bob. Stay strong, Anna’s Uterus! It’s going to be a long 25 years. Jana Duggar Jana, otherwise known as the Duggar Spinster, has somehow reached the ripe old age of 24 without having become a broodmare. She is still just a bride of Denim Jesus, living under her parent’s roof and waiting for her prince to come. I can’t help but wonder if she feels left out when she sees her younger sisters being paired off by Pimp Daddy Jim-Bob while she stays home tending to her gaggle of siblings and taking shifts as kitchen servant and laundry room attendant. I do hope she finds a man soon so her life will have some purpose and she can finally dust off that old uterus John David John-David, twin brother of Jana, has the least remarkable personality of all adult Duggars. There isn’t much I can glean other than he enjoys working as a firefighter and also owns a towing company. He is basically the Duggar’s most eligible bachelor right now at 24 years old so get ready for some future Hand-Sex with some lucky young woman. Jill Jill may be the most newsworthy Duggar of 2014. Jill was recently married to Derick Dillard and is now pregnant with what will be the first of many future #babydillies. This is all under a shroud of suspicion that she and her betrothed participated in pre-marital Sexy Time due to the insanely fast pregnancy announcement they came out with mere weeks after their wedding. I don’t really buy it- my guess is that this wedding was timed to coincide with Jill’s fertile period for maximum immediate pregnancy potential. Yes, I have given this a great deal of thought. For now, Jill is busy registering for Fanta, waxing poetic about barfing for her baby and missing her hubby Derick during laundry time. Jessa Jessa holds the unofficial title of Hottest Duggar Girl and as such, has been courted by teenage Ben Seewald for the better part of the last year. They are now engaged and on the fast-track to making even more Duggar spawn. However, Jim Bob must have thought their relationship was not moving along fast enough and the Lord whispered in his ear that he could use more manual labor so now, Ben lives on the Duggar compound close to his lady and under the watchful eye of Daddy Duggar. For the most part, Jessa does not appear particularly thrilled with this arrangement as she seems perpetually annoyed by Ben and his romantic overtures but that’s ok. Her mom told her she simply needs to be prepared to lay down for Ben whenever he asks if that is what he needs from her. Saith the Lord. Jinger Oh, sweet Jinger (like the spice, not Ringer). The world is watching and praying for her escape. She appears constantly annoyed by her sisters and viewers have taken note of her many eye-rolls when they talk of meeting Mr. Right and their love of all things denim. She broke all of our hearts when she tried to say how much she would love living in the city and her mother swiftly corrected that statement saying that she merely wants to live close to a Wal-Mart and not in the boonies. Dream big, Jinger. We all have our hopes pinned on her eventual escape from the compound so she can write a fantastic tell-all and live her life happily in the city guzzling cups of forbidden coffee and doing nude photography. Michelle Michelle is the original denim worshiper of the Duggar clan and has passed her savvy fashion sense on to her many daughters. Her eerily calm demeanor creeps us all out as does her slavish devotion to her husband and his sexual desires but it’s her insistence on continuing to want more pregnancies despite her near-menopausal age that really makes her stand out. She has been in the news recently for visiting a fertility specialist to see if she should have more children and also, for giving the world’s most archaic sex advice to her daughters. I do have to admit, though- I need to know what pills she might be taking to remain that calm. I only have two kids and rely on a steady drip of Cabernet so I don’t lose my mind. That aspect of her personality is worthy of admiration and study. Jim Bob Lastly, we have good ol’ Jim Bob “Big Daddy†Duggar. He is Lord of his family and their guide in all things spiritual, sexual and otherwise. He had a big year creepily peeping on dates for his daughter Jill and also, getting his daughter Jessa engaged and ready to breed. He believes a woman’s place is in the home and that long, curly hair is where it’s at. There are many who find him super creepy and with good reason- any man that invested in his daughter’s and their virginity is worthy of a healthy dose of side-eye.

    Michelle On youtube.

So Michelle and three other ladies one of the them the wife of the imprisoned man and the other an ex religious prisoner herself made this youtube video asking Michelle Obama to get Saeed out of prison. youtube.com/watch?v=kMxMocG88Lg&feature=youtu.be Also I never realized josh had a youtube Channel.
  6. From duggar family blog: The Dillards have already received two car seats that strap to a suitcase from Derick's mom, in case Jill is pregnant with twins. Every time Michelle announced that she was pregnant she always talked about the possibility of having twins. I get it, she has two sets of twins, but she has 15 singletons! Why are they always expecting it to be twins!! Most people are shocked when they have twins, I think the Duggars are actually disappointed when there is only one baby. Side note, why does a car seat strap to a suitcase? It seems Jill has taken a picture every day of her pregnancy, I think she is stuffing her stomach. I have never met a woman who showed in her first trimester. Most women don't tell anyone they're pregnant till 13 weeks and still don't have a pouchy tummy. I started wearing maternity clothes at 18 weeks and was teased because I did not need to be in them. In last weeks episode all Michelle talked about was "lots and lots" of grand babies and wanting them to live close by. They are all truly mentally disturbed. Everything is babies, babies, babies. It's great that these babies are wanted, but this obsession is beyond ridiculous. I have known women who have had post baby infertility. I can only imagine what how mentally damaging that would be to any of these girls.
  7. I have to wonder if any of the leg humpers ever realize they sure don't talk or show Michelle's side of the family much. It got me wondering what they really think of Michelle and the whole 19 kid thing. I have a feeling that they had some sort of religion growing up and were not atheist (unless someone knows if they are) and we just sort of mainstream. I know she was years younger, but wow we never hear a peep. I wish they would post on here That being said Jim Bob was horrible to his dad (who said he didn't want them to have anymore after the 18th on air) and I don't know what to say about his mother. Sometimes I think she doesn't mind other times I think she just goes with the flow. I really hope Jim Bob doesn't take advantage of his mother. Although in the books he always made her seem like the smart, wise christian mom while dad was a deadbeat.
  8. I am very annoyed by what Michelle said about the Doctor who delivered Josie. She says that due to "all his skills in school, he was able to save you". HIS SKILLS HE LEARNT IN SCHOOL. You deny your kids any real chance of going to university to pursue dreams, yet you know that this Doctor wouldn't be where he was if it wasn't from school. I don't think you can get a medical degree from College Minus.
  9. youtube.com/watch?v=q4UNgcK4urw#t=11 So Michelle is pretending she actually teaches her own children. And is that Jim Boob acting like he helps. Oh just realized it looks like each older child has their own lap top now. They must have dozens of computers in that house.
  10. Poor Michele, She was and is a slave to Jib’s /sexy time. She is on call 24/7 to cater to his love potion, come rain or shine! That girl is a martyr. The girls complain that they were never bought Halloween costumes due to frugal times, but were only allowed to eat cake. I suspect that the Dugs have the same Publicity agent as the Kardashians as their topics are becoming so inane. I think that the dug gars become popular because they played on the general Public’s decency and sense of outrage to see women and small children appear oppressed by a severe regime. Whether, it is true or not remains to be seen.
  11. duggarfamilyblog.com/ That first picture is priceless. Michelle looks ten years older than Jim Bob, meaning Jim Bob looks about 12. Bloomers. Really.
  12. I'm watching the episode from season one, where the girls and boys trade jobs for the day. In it it they describe that Michelle used to tow cars, has her real estate license, so on and so forth. She wasn't held back nearly so much by her family. I feel like she didn't give her girls nearly the same opportunities that she was provided. It also seems as though they've gotten much more conservative in later years with the older girls, whereas much more liberal with the younger ones. It also seems like things would've been different if the consecutive boys and girls had been swapped; had the majority of boys been older, they probably would've been more adept in terms of cooking and cleaning. Other highlights of the episode include: -The girls wearing tennis shoes. -Michelle actually parenting. -Smugger and John-David either already know how the kitchen works or it's beneath them. Both of them have definitely gotten less attractive as they age. -ACTUAL PARENTING! I can't help but wonder how much TLC has changed their lives for the negative.
  13. It's just bothersome how Jim Bob and Michel keep blabbering about not waiting to kiss before marriage. Doesi t make you more special? Kissing is an act of affection. It seems to be a way of one upping each other IMO. I alosget the feeling they wished the had been raised Fundie and had a courtship story to share.

    Michelle Duggars Watch

Is it just me or does anyone else wish she would get a new watch? She's been updating her wardrobe a bit by getting herself a nice new North Face but that watch it's just bulky. She wears the thing with every outfit. Surely someone could have gotten her a prettier one by now. Idk why I'm just sick of looking at it.
  15. actuallyjessica

    I just had a thought...

Say Jessa gets married in the next couple of months (likely), falls pregnant quickly (likely) Anna gets pregnant with #4 (likely). Jill's pregnant. So that's potentially 3 Duggars pregnant... What if, somehow, Michelle becomes pregnant with the elusive #20? HOLY TLC & PEOPLE JACKPOT.

    Duggars and Teaching

In all of the (many) debunkings of the SOTDRT and other "homeschooling" Duggar-related stuff, I was just watching the episode where Michelle and Jill teach Joy to drive and thinking it was really sweet. Sure, they don't do a great job teaching her to parallel park, but it was nice to see Michelle actually engaged with one of the older girls.
  17. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=51 ... =2&theater The kids threw water on their parents heads. The Duggars said they donated to a place that does non embryotic stem cell research. Someone in the comments said they had never seen Michelle in pants before, and someone else said we probably never will. I would have posted a picture, but I will let someone else do that. Couldnt they have worn tshirts and jeans/denim skirt? Why did they have to wear such nice clothes? Enjoy

    Happy Birthday J'chelle

I don't know if it's been posted yet, and I didn't even know today was her birthday until the media picked it up. But send your happy birthday wishes. Happy birthday Michelle. You ruin your kids lives, make your daughters become sister moms, guilt and brainwash them, send them off to journey or alert for more brainwashing for having thoughts, thoughts, feelings or questions. You lived a fabulous life by attending real school going to prom, graduation, having friends, boyfriends, wearing bikinis. All of these things you deprive your children of. You deprived them of their childhood and are more worried about having babies instead of being thankful for the ones you have. I hope your kids make no big deal out of your birthday since you don't make the time to care about theirs. #Happy Birthday
  19. I know, I know, they are Fundamental Christians and staying a virgin until your wedding night is expected, but the lengths that the Duggars go to, not just in the Courting Rules, but also in bathing suit wear for the girls, and their emphasis on no frontal hugs, no dancing... it all leads to tempting impure thoughts (according to them). Is it just me, or does it almost feel like they put so much focus on trying not to have sex, or even stuff they feel encourages sexual/lustful feelings, that it's like that's all it seems to be about. It's almost like it's got a spotlight on it when even innocent affection like holding hands or dancing suddenly is verboten because it might lead to MORE. And JB & J'Chelle dry humping on the mini golf course when on a double date with Ben and Jessa. I mean, who does that?! I would never humiliate my child like that, plus no one wants to be reminded that they are having sex or given a demonstration over mini golf. It's like that and God is their whole focus instead of marriage being about establishing a true friendship and intimacy with your spouse. They don't even seem to be very affectionate or genuinely connected to the kids. It all feels so surface and fake. Everything is always about being Godly and their Faith and not creating lustful thoughts. It's just weird. Not to mention all the "So, what you think? Do you like him/her?" all the time when they barely know one another and are never alone anyways. I also find this crap about giving away pieces of your heart illogical. How is courting any better than dating. If anything, courting would be more hurtful if it didn't work out because it's taken so very seriously with marriage as the intended outcome. Whereas dating isn't always assumed to be all that serious early on or at least not until the couple feels they know each other well. Courting doesn't always work out and people still get hurt. I found it strange that Jessa and Ben were saying I Love You to each other but it wasn't okay to hold hands?! To me, saying I love you is much more intimate than holding hands. Plus publicly calling herself Jessa Seewald before they were even engaged? I mean even if they know that marriage is what's expected, I still think it'[s inappropriate to publicly start calling yourself that until you're married. I just find it strange how they cross some boundaries that most of the women I know wouldn't do in dating, and yet other stuff that is so innocent that it's barely even considered intimacy, like hand-holding, is not allowed. Just feels like way too much emphasis on the physical, on lust and purity and clearly a fear that they would have no self control if allowed to dance or hug face to face or hold hands! It makes me feel like Jessa and Ben are so eager to marry just so they can touch and have sex that beyond being attracted to each other physically, the rest doesn't seem important. And then, no birth control, so you rush into marriage so you can have intimacy and then are probably pregnant within the first six months so you still barely have time to become a couple and really know each other. It's like Jim Bob and Michelle really don't care at all about their kids emotional well being or true happiness as long as they tow the partyline.

    Nike'd

I wonder if Amy gets Nike'd by Moochelle ever time she comes over. Or does she change who she is by dressing in frumpers (by her standards) to appease Uncle Jim Boob.

    Duggar Parental Guidance Interview

I found this interview by Jim Bob and Michelle. It's from the last year or so and conducted by a couple of leghumpers. They only have two blessings, but want to be as Godly and organized as Jim Bob and Michelle are. It's 32 minutes of mostly Michelle rambling. It's quite boring, so I thought I'd summarize and highlight the relevant bits. I'll break this up into two posts. PART I 1:15 – the house must be ordered in a Godly way. Individualism does not matter, the kids must have a patient servant's heart, and both JB and M insist that they talk to their kids regularly. The kids understand they can tell their parents anything without it being made public (!). 4:50 – Michelle talks about an incident where she loses it and gets mad at the kids. She cries, screams and has a breakdown, then apologizes for yelling at them. She learns a coping mechanism that involves whispering to the kids and begging God for strength. 6:40 – Jim Bob talks about getting mad when he caught the Howlers spray painting the floor of his garage. An ATI conference helped him to better manage his anger. Another man he met there had anger issues with his family, and after attending the same series of anger-management lectures as Jim Bob, the man graciously gave his family permission to hold him accountable for when he got angry. 8:00 – Much emphasis on never getting mad or showing your true feelings. Kids are encouraged to whisper and tell one another not to get upset or ever raise their voices in anger, even in private. JB and M believe that getting upset or emotional is never productive, and kids won't respect you if you ever raise your voice. The emphasis here is apologizing for getting upset...not for being wrong. (This could explain so much about Jana being forced to hand her jewelery box over to Jessa. If Jana got too upset over Jessa teasing her and started yelling and crying, that might be why she was forced to give Jessa the box) 10:00 – Michelle actually says something sensible here about not always expecting the house to be clean when you've got a bunch of little kids in it, better to simplify, organize, and use shortcuts for meals. 12:15 – Michelle discusses how you should keep your kids inside the home all the time. If you do every activity together as a family, without any outside influence or even a church, you will have a ministry for God by the time they are in their teens, and all your kids will “love each other perfectly.†15:15 – Perfect submission is the only acceptable choice. Never touch anything that's not yours. Always obey cheerfully and without question, or kids should be punished. BONUS: optional drinking game. Take a shot or sip every time Michelle says “little ones.†You'll probably be drunk by the ten-minute mark. PART II 17:00 – Michelle tells us how she brainwashes her older kids into parenting her younger children. She lays on the guilt pretty thick. If an older buddy ever gets upset or impatient with a younger buddy, Michelle lectures them. You're older, and God requires more of you than anger. The little ones love you, look up to you, and admire you, how dare you get angry with them! When you get upset, you're telling them that they are just in the way and you don't value them. Turns out Jessa is the organizer of the group who is also in charge of the jurisdictions. More talk of teaching the little ones as early as possible. As soon as they are old enough to handle a chore, they get one. 22:00 – Michelle covers the finer points of obedience, including being cheerful, thorough, as well as doing it unconditionally and instantly. She claims there are 4 points of obedience, but covers at least 7 of them all while ratcheting the baby voice up to 11. I guess counting isn't covered in the wisdom booklets. 24:00 – Michelle tells a story where she literally tells Jackson to jump, as well as how high. It's fun because he's learning so much about how to obey in a fun way that he will enjoy. Discussion of JOY ensues, Jesus first, others second, yourself last. Jim Bob stresses the need for Patriarchy and Bible time every night, but not to be a dictator to your family. Funny, considering Michelle spends about 28 of the full 32 minutes of this interview doing most of the talking. Who's in charge here again? If you're still playing the “little ones†drinking game, then you're probably dead of alcohol poisoning by now. It's used too many times to count. Bottom line and takeaway from this mess: you don't matter now, you never will matter, and as long as you understand that and we use religion to justify your unquestioning obedience, then we, your parents, can keep popping out the blessings indefinitely and make you raise them because you are too ignorant and brainwashed to know any better.
  22. Hey guys, I'm new here! I've spent the last few days reading this forum. After discovering 19kac and thinking something was off... I googled. Anyway, I was wondering, what do you guys think would happen if (god forbid, I would never wish it upon "her children") Michelle died during this pregnancy? Would Jim Boob just marry another fundi willing to continue to pop out kid after kid? Would the kids finally flee the Duggar and fundi cults?!
  23. http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2013/09/michelle-duggar-reveals-dark-secret-god-is-convicting-me-about-my-anger-problem/ Michelle Duggar always seems to have a smile on her face and a loving tone of voice, but the mother of 19 admits a dark secret that she has – she struggled with an anger problem when her children were young. The 19 Kids and Counting reality show matriarch made the admission in a new video blog obtained by RadarOnline.com where she explained how she overcame her “anxiousness†and “anger†with the help of The Lord. “I don’t always stay calm,†Jim Bob Duggar’s wife admits. --- This isn't surprising, tbh. Michelle practices blanket training and all, it takes a special person to hit babies :/
  24. Although Amy doesn't seem to be on as much as she used to, for a while they seemed to take her along on trips and stuff and I wondered how they reconciled her wearing pants and listening to music on her Ipod and other stuff that they don't allow their daughters to do? I mean, do they tell their girls that Amy is going to Hell? Or that she dresses like a slut? I mean, is music is so evil and leads to immoral behaviour...are they saying that will happen to Amy? It's weird that none of the older girls seem to question that. Does anyone know more about how they deal with her and their belief systems clearly clashing?
