  1. Delurking here! Hi all! Stumbled across this video earlier this afternoon: wwwdotlivingwaters.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=2771&Itemid=314〈=en
  2. IIRC, the house was a gift from the grandparents, so is there a mortgage or rent to be paid? Is he paying mortgage on the business or was it a "gift" from JimBob? If he doesn't have those normal expenses every month then he's at a quite a financial advantage over other local business people. Oh, and let's not forget the thousands of dollars in free advertising from TLC every so often. Sorry if this has been talked about before.
  3. REALLY? I had my wisdom teeth pulled out and I definitely remember my orthodontist telling me what I could and could not have prior to my surgery; they even gave me a paper so I wouldn't forget. Honestly, Josh, you're so arrogant and refuse to follow rules. Anna looked pretty annoyed with it. Can't blame her. And this is the dude who wants to become a lawyer? He's the last person I'd contact cos I'm sure he'd come to court late. Judge says "8:00am" and he'll think "8:00ish, Smuggar's time" and using the excuse "Oh, I didn't mean to do it. I didn't know and didn't have a paper". Idiot.
  4. http://news.yahoo.com/photos/awkward-fa ... slideshow/ See #4 at Dollywood kind of looks like Josh
  5. I thought I read that the Duggars would not allow say...Joseph and Jinger to stay at home alone together. Or say Jill and John David. That something might happen. Has anyone else heard this? It's pretty sickening.
  6. "Duggar Dental Drama TV-PG Jessa, Jinger, Joseph and Josh all go under the knife for wisdom teeth extractions -- on the same day. But when Josh and Joseph miss a crucial step in preparing for the surgery, they become the ones who need a little wisdom." Let me guess? They hurl half-digested ramen noodles all over the dentist's office?? Please--this will be THREE dentist episodes. As for Josh, I'm sure Joshie-Girl will "make hims all besser" when he gets home, but the other 3....they'll be left to fend for themselves! And, I bet we'll see Michelle "taking care of" her own little children (with ONLY Grandma, Joy Ann, Jill and Jana to "help").
  7. In one of the Duggar clips or episodes before Smuggar and ofSmuggar's wedding, she mentioned her and her mother sitting down for a talk about marriage shortly before her wedding. Do they really keep their children in the dark about sex until so late in life?
  8. building and car lot? I cracked up laughing. Yep Boob it is easy to lie to your viewing audience, but the Internet public records search engines don't lie. Some people know you own both lots.
  9. Look, the only stuff I know about the Duggars, I read here. I was asked by a friend today if I'd heard that Smuggar had sexually abused his younger sisters. I have no clue about any additional details or anything else, but this is what someone believed. I answered and said that I never heard anything remotely like this. I'm no fan, and I think the whole show has about as much respectability as a circus side show, but I'd never heard that any of those kids had been in any way inappropriate with one another. Anyone else heard this or know what it references if there is something taken out of context?

    Duggars on a diet

So ummm... what happened to the 'diet'? AKA Weight Watchers I think Josh needs it too and Jim Bob Also remember this? http://health.discovery.com/videos/17-kids-and-counting-webisodes-losing-weight-after-a-baby.html Could you all imagine the Duggars on the GI (Glycemic Index) diet? http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/glycemic-index-diet knowing TLC they would be saying they were following a diet like this for years haha Also, 2 OT questions 1. Am I not supposed to provide the whole link? 2. Can I find a list of what I will be next? (I was a tator tot now I am blanket trained)
  11. Yes, I know I'm behind the times: I only watched the Duggar wedding special last night. I have only two comments: 1) If Mr. Keller is a decent guy in real life, then TLC did a hack job on the man because he sounded like a leering, self-congratulatory pig in the special - and that isn't even touching the, 'Jesus turned water into grape-juice' nonsense. 2) Who pledges not to use birth control in their vows? That's just gross.
  12. This is my first post on the new board! Anyway, I never thought I would be sympathetic to Smuggar, but two points on different threads are making me feel sympathy for him. Now I kind of want to free Josh too. First, I wonder if he has hypothyroidism. I have that disease and it's relatively easy to manage, but if you don't stay on top of it, it will drain your soul. We all like to snark about his weight gain, but a change in weight that fast is not normal, and I think there's more going on than just too much chicken-etti. He's young enough that his weight should be more stable and he should have a high metabolism. When my thyroid is low, I gain weight so easily, but when it is under control, whether I eat healthy or binge on junk food, my weight still stays steady. This could also explain why he seems so lazy. Or he could have depression, which can also cause rapid weight gain and fatigue. What really concerns me is that he will delay getting help because he'll feel guilty and think that if prays hard enough, God will make his medical problems disappear. I almost hope it is hypothyroidism because if it's depression it will never be taken seriously among fundies. I know fundie women are pressured to put on a fake smile, but the men probably feel the same kind of pressure to a lesser extent. If he's depressed, he won't be able to admit that his lifestyle is maybe less than perfect. Second, there's the "sin in the camp" incident. Apparently he was engaged at a very young age, 15 or 16, and then the girl's father lost an election and blamed it on Josh. There is speculation that he was even sent to a camp to get him back under the fundie thumb. That's a lot for a teenager to handle. He is the oldest of 19 and that can't be easy. Even though the girls do more work, I think he must have done at least some chores before his sisters were old enough to completely take over. Maybe his smugness is just a front for something worse going on. Now I'm hoping that he'll break away from the cult and be a leading example for all his siblings. I would love to see a tell-all book about the "sin in the camp" incident specifically. Can you imagine being a teenager and being blamed for an adult's failure because of some minor infraction?
  13. they are replaying all of the J&A-centric specials, starting with the wedding episode. I'm watching it now because I think I missed at least part of it the first time around. At least, I'm trying to watch it...but it's almost too embarrassing/sickening to watch. Especially JB's man-to-man talk Oh, and I'd forgotten the hand sex. Josh has aged considerably in the last 3 years. More of JB's pearls of wisdom: "Men are not as emotional as a woman. A wedding is one of the highlights of her life." Followed by some more pontificating by Smuggar...who is clearly an expert on women
  14. I watched it and I think I threw up a little in my mouth. The whole family is together and Josh saying "another precious addition" and trying several times to not say his son's name "Michael" is referred to as Makynzie (sp?) little brother and talks to her as if she will answer back. Anna looks uncomfortable, but I don't blame her, she just gave birth a few days ago and now is up running because smuggers wants the t.v. coverage. I know when my sister gave birth at home with my 2nd nephew she stayed home for almost a week and I had to wash my hands and wear a clean shirt to not expose him to too many germs ( they only had 5 guest the first 2 weeks). She said she didn't want to walk far (like down the hall) for the first 2-3 days let alone travel outside the home. It's early morning so if this makes no sense it because I am writing as I am almost falling asleep. today.msnbc.msn.com /id/26184891/vp/43450233#43450233
  15. I thought the Duggars had some big announcement today. Was it the birth of their new grandson or was it something else? :?:
  16. http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/tv/19-kids-and-counting I know this info is buried in some other threads, but thought it would be good to make it clear. There is a video where they ask all the kids (and J'chelle and the boob) what they should name the baby thats pretty cute. I guess they didnt really share all that much.
