Razing Ruth was the story of an escaped fundie daughter making good for herself. A relatively popular poster on FJ and in the ex-fundy world, despite some questions about the truth to her story. Many people donated money and emotional support to RR over the years.
In July 2013, it was discovered that Razing Ruth was a fictional persona who was being portrayed by an individual who had likely run similar scams previously.
