Picture of the Day ~ 12.09.15

@Fascinated has mentioned the Sargent Art gel pens recently.   This is a page I did with just the metallic set, when I first got it.  They are really pretty in person, but you can't tell the metallic very well in this scan.   They are definitely one of my favorite gel pens.

Yes, I have a fairly intimate relationship with those pens, as they are basically all I have worth using. But my point is that I know the colours pretty well now, so I can picture your picture (!) in my mind in all it's metallic pen beauty. It looks gorgeous in the photo but I honestly know how much prettier it is on the page. I love the colours you chose - it's very beautiful!

It's sad they get dulled down so much in pictures/scans :(    They really are a great set of markers and reasonably priced.  I wish they had a larger set because I'd buy that in a heartbeat.   I find Sargent Art products to be great.    I bought a cheapy set of colored pencils by Sargent and really like them as well.

      The Pecans

      The Holts

      The Swansons

      Are there any others?

Possibly Tori and Bobby Smith but could still be a coincidence.

I think the Whites are awful in many ways, but I'm kinda hoping that their objection was that the Bowers are a bunch of Insurrectionists who want to overthrow the government.

Like Pelaiah, my dad was career military, and he sure as hell would have objected to me marrying into someone whose into treason.

I'm going to be total BEC right now and point out that this is what Haley apparently wore out to dinner at a  Texas Roadhouse  a night or two ago. I don't know about y'all but I always wear a floor length satin gown to eat ribs at my local mid-market chain steakhouse.

Plus Curtis is a nutty conspiracy theorist and has been for many years. Long before trump, Curtis was espousing his bullshit. Jan 6 was just his holiday.

Yep. Fundies have all kinds of nonsensical disputes and pre-marriage questionnaires about “theological differences” and “scripture”, so the parents may very well have objected the marriage due to some random difference in religious doctrine with the other family.

I guess I pulled a Braggie and put wall paper on my bathroom built in cupboard. It was super cheap though. I didn’t spend hundreds of dollars on designer Anthro paper. I spent like 8 or 9 bucks on a roll of this to brighten up the space:
