Toe Cleavage

Credit here goes to Wikipedia...

Toe cleavage is the partial exposure of a woman's toes in shoes that are cut low enough at the vamp.

The implied sexual aspects also come into play for some. Dominatrix Claudia Varrin references the attraction to "stiletto pumps with the low vamp" that allow "lots of toe cleavage".  And Frederick's of Hollywood has promoted open-toe shoes as "sexually suggestive" due to the toe cleavage.

Does anyone really find that tiny exposed crack between the toes to be sexy or sexually suggestive?  Do any of you wear these with that intention?

Just sayin...

I really hate toe cleavage! It makes finding ballet flats a challenge because it seems like toe cleavage has been pretty trendy the past few years.

a lot of my shoes show toe cleavage, but I don't wear them for suggestive reasons; I just like the shoes.  I've long been aware that some people have a thing for it, but it has no bearing on me.  and if any of my co-workers have a fetish and are looking, they're keeping it well hidden.

This has me worried. Are my barefeet considered hardcore footporn if seeing a crack between my toes is considered cleavage?  Must I really cover up my toes in the garden so I don't defraud the neighbors? What is a shoe hater meant to do?

This reminds me of a certain FJer (who was prone to exaggeration :giggle:) who claimed to have been a footporn model. Lol

Well - there IS Bill Gothard to consider.

@clueliss nope nope nope nope nope. I did not just read that.

Anyway if you really want to enhance/emphasize your toe cleavage, toe-socks are the way to go.

@clueliss Well someone had to say it - and I was just about to!

In answer to the questions: no, not sexy, and no, that would never cross my mind.

Apparently I have long toes, because if the toe part of the shoe is short you can see my defrauding toe cleavage. It's not my fault that my toes are naturally busty!!!

These nearly give me a panic attack just looking at them.  Toes totally encased...no!

as an aside, when I started seeing notices that people were posting on this topic, my first thought was fundies are worried about feet as well as collarbones now?  What will the flip flop loving Duggar girls do?

I should have realized it was @crazydaffodil blog topic for the day.

Was that MalteseBaby?  I thought she was a wedding gown model?

I was once given a pair of those toe socks.  My toes are length challenged and didn't fit them.

Of course it was @crazydaffodil. We need someone to keep us on our toes!

Fun fact: in Italian there's no word that can literally translate "cleavage". We use "scollatura" or "décolleté" that I think in English is translated as "decolletage". It comes from the french word that designates a shoe that doesn't cover the "collo" (that means both neck and also the upper part of the foot) of the foot. So décolleté means both a type of shoe and the naked part above the neckline (that can be both on the front and on the back).

Nothing new under the sun.

@crazydaffodil is the dailymail your source for this pearl of wisdom? They are obsessed with the cleavage, and pins always the pins. Ah the bewilderment of poor stupid me who at school learned that pins are these straight-pins.jpg

I suppose PP would propose the amputation of the scandal causing part. Because "if your right hand (or was it the left? I am quoting from memory) creates scandal,  you have to cut it off and throw it away". Sorry for your toes dear.

First of all, I'm very happy with my regular cleavage.

Second of all, shoes showing maximum toe cleavage make my feet hurt just thinking about them.

Third of all, toe socks are of the devil. If something is between my toes or in my sock I cannot function properly as a human being until I have removed it.

@laPapessaGiovanna, I saw a woman wearing a pair of shoes and she was showing plenty of toe cleavage.  So I researched the issue and that got me started on the topic.

It's also possible Joy was there and requested not to be photographed.

That was a dreadfully extreme reaction and yes therapy needing or she's among the 1 percent of most selfish people on earth.  Joy has PPD and is getting therapy.  I can see where she mighht not go to the funeral, but support Jill in other ways.

"Very thoughtful and intentional updates".  That's a load of bullshit.  She wanted her kitchen redone and they were willing to spend six months in a rental to have it just like Braggie wanted it.  If she'd really put thought into it, she would have arranged the kitchen so that it was more child-friendly.  She could have actually had the kitchen designed so it would be easier to prep for meals and clean up afterwards.  I see nothing like that.  It's just new knobs, distressed painting, and old furniture.   (That distressed green door is making me nuts.)  Where are the pull-outs for pan storage?  What about, you know, rounding the damn corners so your little boys aren't always cracking their skulls on the corners as they skid around the kitchen?  What about comfortable seating?  What about a pantry that's closer to the kitchen counter?  What about making the daily dinnerware easier to put away and not using shelves in the kitchen to display your mismatched bowls and cups?  And why is there a bandanna hanging right near a stove burner?

Didn't she call them "twinbies" as a portmanteau for twin babies? Those are not babies anymore and haven't been for a while. I'm probably just being BEC about this but I do wonder if they'll be babied for as long as Janessa Rodrigues is.

Yes, they will.  The girls are twinsies and the boys are twinbies.  Abbie thinks that's cute.  She mentioned in a story yesterday that she had to clean some poopy diapers so the boys are nearly four and she still isn't toilet training them.  They will stay babies for a couple more years.

More proof she has a shopping problem. She sells stuff all the time. Therefore you don’t notice how much she constantly buys.

More lies d from Braggie. She constantly complained about her concrete counter top because it was always chipping. She also complained about the paint on the cabinets chipping as well. She has been wanting to redo The Whole kitchen for awhile and a total gut job was not necessary at all. She lies as much as she breathes.

I have to add she got two new dishwashers, a new giant fridge and a new $12,000 stove/oven. I’m sure they weren’t broken by the “flood.”
